Coming from a past of pains
and a sullen life of disdain,
she had endured much series of hurts
hurled on her, at every turn
The ache continued without a stop
Thus causing her, to suffer many loss.
In anger & pain, she drifted farther from grace
Certain, her turmoil where orchestrated
By the very one, who called to her each day
Drowning in her own bitter blood
she cried out desperately to the Lord.
From her entanglement, of self-righteousness
She surrendered to Him, in brokenness
she took the leap, jumping off the cliff
of bitterness and grievousness
She spread her wings and caught the winds
Of Mercy and Grace, in Christ's Faithfulness
And Since that day, a new born she became

Who by His majesty and power

Sitting at the kitchen table
He gathered his breathe
Drawing them ever so slow and long
His choice to walk had left him breathless
Not preparing him, for so much more
The mahogany wood, teasing his mind
To reminiscent on the past
How mother had fed him bacon and eggs
With full cream and espresso
The hearty laughs they shared in joys
With father's jokes and cheerful talks
Snapping his mind shut, from the flash
He tried to calm, his trembling nerves
A giddiness, of varying sought
Seemed to rattle, his sturdy form
Unsure in himself, of what next to do
He rose from the chair, weary and tall

Sad eyes peered through the black night
Hers was a story of frostbite

she'd mastered the art of deceptive lies

The world was busy
Shuffled around by Caesar

Today I just want to encourage someone right here, that life is worth living for. It is more beautiful than you've already seen. Having many more things around the corner to live for than the pains to die for. For the pain you experience right now, tempting you end it all is nothing compared to the glory ahead of your today.
So focusing on death is more depressing than the pain you already feel, exaggerating the true state of things and keeping you from hope in your being; rather paint the life you desire in your heart and let that be your focus, then you would make it through, take it from someone who knows.

Where the leopards lie with the sheep's and deer's

A twist of love it had become
Barely a year in marital bond
A paradoxical twist of promises
Erupting at every turn
With all hope seeming lost
He knew no where else to turn
With frustration mounting high,
He decided to shut them down
A part of him loved her still

So a long walk he took along the sea shores

It was a promise of love
So surreal at loves altar
His heart resolute towards his sweetheart

Loaded Clouds
The Clouds are thick and dark
Ready to weep with tears of joy
Like a quilted blanket with sewn ridges
They are beautifully dressed in grey and white

As much as he admired her

But to run wild with emotions, he knew better

Secret riches dwells afar

Rescued
All his life he had being on the run
Chasing after shadows, in this vast world
Without a glimpse of where to turn
Closed in, his skies were grey
Without a dawn of day
Frustration after frustration
Nothing Positive ever turned his way
Till his life came to an abrupt halt
And became haunted by the ghosts of dismay
Finally he was now at his dead end
At the bottom of the sea he lay as dead
Until a light shone above the vast waters
Getting brighter as it's intensity drew nearer
The heat of it's rays burned through his soul
Though amidst the waters of death
It burned to a thousand feet below
This fire burned through the moisture all around
Hitting him straight within his heart
Suddenly he jerked back to life
His first gulp of air was the saltiness of loss
With the sudden mixture of pure bane
Realizing he was about to drown again
He looked to the light above
Signalling for help in strain
Suddenly he was fully surrounded In the Glory of His Brightness
Divinity becoming his home
All fears dispersed in earnest
Before he could blink, he was now afloat
Above deaths deep, sailing ashore.
It was an encounter to remember
Once in a lifetime forever
His journey to the bottom of life's sea
To His miraculous extraction by Divinity
Delivered beyond all barriers by the light of Grace
It was a memory to forever rehearse
To Rehearse Forever
Now He surfs upon the vastness of the sea
Taking on every single wave that surges on his way
Making them a stepping stone to rise back in glory
He glides on in grandeur, by the perfect hand of Grace
Carrying him above the sublime of the undulating waves
This time he follows the path charted, All by Grace
Beyond the illusions that once misled his sway
He finally learns
The Art of Living by Faith.

His Grace are revealed in allegories
Pleading to all with ears to hear
That their minds to him may attentively turn
Perhaps as they heed His beseeching call
So deceit may loose its hold on them
Healing their wounds of past years
And by the wonders of His amazing Grace
This wisdom can bring them to eternal Bliss.

Burnt Out
After all said and done,
He had nowhere to go
With nothing else to show
For all the labours and toils
Which he had put forth in hope
With heart sunken in defeat
Face chiseled in anger
His knees hit the dust
As He cried with a loud voice
“I've done all I know to do”
Why then is nothing working?
A peaceful silence pervaded his space
Engulfing his being in a chilling warmth
His troubled heart began to ease
As the glorious silence lingered on
Without a response from above
As though to pick a queue from the calm
He Solemnly whispered from his heart
“what in all this should i do?
For I surrender ALL to you
That I may see your help come through
And just like that the words came through
Just Take my Hand and Let Me Lead
Your destiny to eternity
For the hands of Grace stretches out to you
Waiting that you let go to His hold
Then you my friend would see my Help
Engulf your life just like the wind
Bringing you to my place of perfect Peace
Beyond the turmoils of your past
Or impending dangers around your life
Because you have put an end to self.

Caught between two worlds
He was transfixed in a fix

He is glistening in glory and grandeur
Light is His dwelling
The abundance of darkness never affects His presence
For with him their is no shadow of turning
Triumphing in strength and might
At His presence darkness must take flight
From Him all powers ignite
Being the beginning of All things in light
His face shining as the sun
With feet studded like brass and iron
Upon the clouds of glory He rides
His footsteps thunderous, resounding through time
Blazing is His light that blinds the night
The abundance of His Love on us alights
Grace and Goodness is His delight
His dwelling place gleams in sight
In glorious shafts of splendour
He supersedes in Glory above All
His Love for us knows no end
Pursuing after His creation with zest
Gloriously He triumphs
Over the enemies of our peace
In victory He wins the war
That we should cry no more
Jesus is the Christ we call
Our Lover, Our Helper and Friend
Our Lord and the Conquering Hero
In whom there is No End!

Why wonder who you are

Rescued
Closer than ever the sirens were near
Tires screeching at halting speed
Multiple footsteps could be heard
A rescue plan unfolding
Taking a swift turn of advantage
The assailant made a Dodge
Hastening towards her, he pulled the trigger
And darted into darkness
A shrieking cry escaped her mouth
As she lay flat on the ground
Pressure rising within her chest
She knew indeed this was the end
It was a sad night
Yet a night of victory
Between her palms laid the book
The very key to save her destiny
So simple yet so true
Written on seemingly thin sheets
So studded and concrete
To her heart in all devotion it was closely knit
In the midst of the blur
Her lids blinked open in a daze
To see she was in the midst of a frenzy
For the siren had her surrounded
Too terrified was she
crouched in terror rocking her knees
Rude Flashes of remembrance
Streaked through her mind
As the event of a minute past
Washed over her like rain on a sunny day
Suddenly the thought struck her like lightening
She had just being saved again
Mind throbbing, agitation rising
Her eyes fell upon the book she clenched all along
As a metal shone through
Catching her attention anew
Mustering enough strength to steady herself
She focused intently with fresh interest
Behold there it was helplessly
The bullet, stopped by the Word!
Stuck between the Bible was the deadly weapon
Fashioned solely for her destruction
But by the power of the Word
Her life was preserved for a second time

A Plea for Help
The pistol sounded in her ears
It was a cold night
Dreary and frightful
Sending shrills of anxiety down her spine
Scrambling to her feet
She shuddered for composure
Heart throbbing, blood pumping
She heard her heart beating
The rush of Adrenaline set her feet in motion
Like the hinds feet she darted for safety
Sprinting across the field
Her assailant, hot in pursuit
Dodging from an unforeseen rubble
Too fast was her feet that she didn't see the bricks
Suddenly she tripped
Her guts tightening in dread
Bile rising to her throat
She had the taste of fear
Her attacker was swift on her
Gaining every inch of speed
With one thought in mind
She looked above crying for help
Her words quick and alarmed
As she blurted out, simply saying
Jesus, i need your Help
Suddenly in the distance
Sirens could be heard
Tires screeching,
Sporadic gunshots blaring
Finally her rescue was in view
All because she requested it of Him!

Words like wild fire, licks everything in its path
Once kindled, never is it easily quenched
But its hands are felt, ever burning on
Blazing with a vengeance, ravaging without return
The very formation of speech
Was never the crux in the protocols of words
Rather each letter was intended an inroad into the soul
Streaming past the surface
Beyond the mask of the epidermis
Revealing the core of every being
Has been its jurisdiction for ages
Beyond the euphemism of falsehoods
And the lethargy of pretense
Words were made to unveil TRUTH
Having hands to make or break
Imparting life to every existence
Each word possessing the power
To Build or demolish
Embellish or diminish
Replenish or tarnish
For it leaves nothing the same
Thus the question remains the same
What tool have you made your words to be?
Ornaments of grace, unveiling truth to heal?
Or flames of destruction, conniving to kill?

The Lion Within
Surrounded in the midst
Pressured down by all her fears
Ears tingling from all the noise of her past
In tears she was shattered to the ground
So fragile was her being
Under much pressure of intrigue
In broken pieces she lay around
Looking everywhere but nowhere, vaguely she stares
In terror she found no hope
Fear in her having a show
All hell seemed on the loose
In her direction the war raged on
Then came the still small voice
Speaking deep within her being
Far beyond the raging sea
Beyond her screaming instincts was His peace
With bellows submerging every raving noise
It was the roar of the king
Silencing every enemy
Discharged and acquainted came the thundering verdict
Redeemed to live forever free
Mounting in strength with every spoken word
Drawing courage from the reality of His love
She is raised up in victory eternally
Forever delivered and set free from the adversaries in conspiracy
Today she stands
In her Royal robe of white
The emblem of grace as her crown
And the signet of power is her ring
Established in might, forever clad in glory.

Precious Light
Let your life shine bright, in the midst of night, bearing the precious light of Christ.
In Him delight and all evils will take flight, right in your very eyes. For in Him you live, move and have your being, if only you believe.
Yes the power of God, ignites every life, who to Him reunites, by believing the son,
Coming through the son, your life would be transformed, in all shapes and form beyond the storm
Causing the precious light, the life of Christ, to shine through you, beaming ever bright
So that all who sees, should truly believe, that you have your life well hid in Him and that your might you find in Him,
For by Grace you stand upright, sending all evils to flight, then in Him you will delight, having His Word as your headlight
And beyond your fears, in the midst of your dread, if you seek Him at twilight or even through the midnight, you would see Him in starlights, even way beyond moon's light.
You'll see Him near to you, never willing to fail you, but so eager to help you, as the Sunlight peers through
For unto the daylight, nothing else can stop your flight, to a world of great delight, given by foresight
Yea by Him you have insight, and the needed hindsight, for every circumstance, trying to hold you bound
But as you let the floodlight, of His grace fill your space, all your flaws he will erase, that all may know Christ lives in you.
As you keep up the fight of faith, going on a higher pace, let His power in you ignite, far beyond the darkest night
Bringing you to a higher height, even way beyond the skies, let His glory be seen in you, making you the highlight, right before the world's eyes, in the midst of their night.

Love from War
On a bright sunny day in July 1969
He sent her words from war
It was the first of its kind from the fields of Vietnam
Oh how his heart ached for her
Wishing he was home with her
He ached to feel the touch of her hands
To look into those electrifying brown eyes
And to let her know how much he longed for her
With a sudden yearn beyond the hurts of war
He pulled out a pen and paper
Pouring his heart out with each ink stain
He crafted beautiful words that captured his aches
Long and laborious it was
For him to pen his every thought
But the love he had for her was more
Beyond the throbs and strain he felt
Each word conveying his heart
Painting his soul upon the sheets
An epistle of 10 pages he wrote
Almost conveying his mood in a single note
Now forty eight years after
In holy wedlock to his heartthrob
With days of combat long gone
He sits in peace at the coffee table
Skyping leisurely with her
In one of his conglomerates in China
He couldn't help but utter his relieve
I'm glad your eyes I can behold
And freely your voice I can attend, on a beautiful summer morn!
At 71 they ping daily
The love they share only crescendos
Not a single day passes without them tweeting
And sharing a kiss in real time on skype
On holidays they go on trips
Taking various love cruises through the globe
Their children loves keeping up with them on Instagram
And the grandchildren relish in a group chat on Facebook
At last he had all he wanted and more
All beyond his wildest imaginations by Grace
A business and consortium well grown
A love and family to hold
Even to have them so close, by the magic of a single post!

Rescued by Love
She had fled from home on a cold winter morn
Trudging in despair, a long way from home
Tired and weak, she had no where to go
So lost in the woods, she crumbled into the snow
Unable to hold back the tears, she let it flow
Untold was the pain she felt within and the quivering of her troubled soul
Pounding was her heart in total fear
As she heard the footsteps of evil assailants drawing near
Thus in deaths path, she cried out in despair
Suddenly along he came bold in might
So brave at heart and up to every fight
Blazing in fiery anger he leveled all assailants
And in total victory he delivered her from all her fright
Bringing her to safety, now she could see
That captivating was his eyes, so filled with light
Never had she known a man so brave as he
Who abandoned his crown just to save her from her misery
Restored home in loves arms
She finds all her fears are gone
With new rays of hope,
She knows her life has just begun
In a moment she is swept into his loving arms
Forever made alive rescued from all her shame
It is the dawn of a new day
As she stands adorned before him
To be his wife, elected by His Grace
Her life transformed and made new
It is the beginning of a new phase
Oh the beginning of all her days.

Vivid Ambience
She is coloured
She is different
She's got an accent
She's disparate
A long way she's come
To dwell amongst them all in a quandary
Yet in her dauntlessness
She's not allowed to mix
They shroud her intimidatingly
So outnumbered she treads softly
Not knowing which way to turn certainly
She counts her steps stealthily
Just hanging on barely,
She perches for dare life on a single branch of hope in endurance
Yet unknown to her doubtlessly
The ambience she exudes transforms her surrounding in glory
Lending her beauty to them all ignorantly
She peaks through their fangs
Gazing cluelessly in oblivion's comfort
She stands unaware of her sway
Yet in the midst of it all
Her impact is felt
Only if she knew better
She would boldly make her stance
Daring to take the certain risk,
For her voice to be heard, very vivid.

The Cycle of life
Though we live in a world of self-centeredness and greed, if we can pick a lesson or two from the liberality of the trees

In a world of varying shades of facts
How can you tell a lie
In a life of varying shadows of doubt
Look within your heart and you will know
Which fact holds the honour of a Truth
For communing with the inner man
Absolutely settles it's stance
Confirming the inkling you had all along
Facts seldomly are the evidence of truth
But there is one that bears witness beyond the clues
Who in your heart will attest
To that which is truly true
For the world in denial
Seeks to abdicate the truth
But if you would truthfully look within
Then you'll find unraveled

A Flattering Tongue
Many promises he makes
But a lying tongue he has
Flattering lips he possesses
But to live committed he knows not how
At every turn, with each stride
His tongue, a sepulchre of lies
Masked in the chicanery of endless promises
His true nature, his features belies
Leisure is his thought for every conversation
A game of words he says
As a roar of foolish pride erupts from his can of traps
A sinister laugh resounding from his guts
But then he never stops to consider
That a loose tongue is an enemy to the soul
For as a horse without a bridle
He is sure to ride himself to destruction without a saddle
Without the slightest will to fight for truth
Nor to take a bullet for standing resolute
He looses identity amongst the heap of lies
He has adorned as a mask
Surely when truth is unveiled
He is found wanting beneath its gauge
For somewhere in the mix
He has found solace in the circus of deceit
Thus when good is really come
He has not the slightest clue
Cause buried is he from the truth
Crafting another string of lies
Which has him engrossed,
In spawning fresh webs of guile.

In the quiet night, the candle light doth gleam afar
Stealthily but steadily it burns upright
Fragile yet vibrant
Its flickering tongue doth sting the dark
Abiding still in confidence
Its resolute might is ever set

For in the dark night of intensities
It weathers through evils blitz
Refusing to absorb the world around it
It gives its light refusing to fright

He faithfully produces his fruits of light

Like a faithful servant before his master

Being a faithful light, a shining light
He drains the dark away from the night
Like the mustard seed being the least of all seeds
But in maturity becomes a sturdy tree
So this Light though the smallest of all lights

Engraved within you is a priceless piece of jewel

Watching over the city
A beaming smile adorns His eyes
With joy beaming within His heart
And a rod in hand
He sits upon the clouds
Setting everything in place
He takes His master place
The sky above, His main stay
In sovereignty He rules in Glory
Making our lives worth living
A frown crossed his brows
Crystal tears streaks his face
A Blazing fire captures His eyes
He wonders at the chaos formed below
Wondering why the earth is full of sorrows
Surely this is not my original creation He thought
But humans keep going the wrong path unto death
Why do they suffer needlessly in dearth?
When they can have all they seek by My Help?
Pondering over the obvious answers He says
If only they would believe Me and go My way
All will be well with them beyond today
If they'll really believe The Love I have for them
Then upon me, their lives they'll place
If only they'll receive My Love for them today
Then their lives in victory no death can take
If only they will trust in me each day
Then their lives would go beyond the stakes
For I would bring them into my ease
And meet them at each point of need
I would bring them success beyond yesterday
If only they'll really believe Me and go My way.

Sunlight
At sunset, he comes to the brink of the river
Gazing afar, he beholds the beauty of the firmament unattached
Weighed down, his heart seems to linger in oblivion
Surrounded by the pain of the past
The deck of anguish is how far he could walk
So dark is his night within
That in broad day light he seems in shadows groping
Everything about his life looses colour in black and white
Though he has so much to be thankful for unaware
But languid in monochromes pattern,
A recluse to death he has become
Slowly his pain has eaten him up
Leaving only a shadow of who he once was
So hard it is to behold the carcass
Of a once vibrant soldier of love
Now heedlessly strolling upon the river banks
Though clarity streaks in flashes of light

In the darkness
Everything is bleak and dreary
His path seems lonely and scary
Even as his eyes won't see clearly
His irised pupil seem just to be an accessory
With confusion pervading his mind
Crickets clearly heard around
His medulla goes blank
Fear weakens his stance, surrounded by the dark
Even as he falls to the ground, with no hope found
In a moment, a sudden light beams afar
And closer it draws nigh
Enlightening his path
In shame and confusion he lifts up his eyes
To find this light, a beaming star
A silver lining in his path
Its brilliance saturated his surrounding
Supercharging energy shafts into his being
Steadiness was its stance that sent all fears packing

Captivated to the soul
Sunk in by its glory
All darkness were already receding
Fear melted away like chess, in the presence of heat
It was a glorious moment, he thought he could be dreaming

With eyes still filled with love
Hands still opened wide to us
Heart, so courageous
Feet, so beautiful and strong
His majestic entrance captivated my pupils
By His dazzling presence my retina was intrigued,
So spell bound was I
That it seemed my oblongata was on a hike
Indeed the object of my attention was His glory
His splendour, His grandeur, oh His beauty,
Was beyond comprehension
His appearance far outweighed His death
With a smile stretching over His perfect face
Joy overwhelming His marvellous frame
With myriads of hope glints in place
He enveloped me in His love
In a perfect embrace He held me close
That Him I should doubt no more
Ready for the proclamation of the good news
He said to me aglow
Go tell the world what I've done
Tell the world I'm going home
Tell, that for them, I've gone to make room,
So perfect and so true
With eyes piercing into my soul
His words were intense like coals
Like fiery blazes they consumed me as wood
As He said in earnest
Go tell everyone I'm returning soon
To bring them home with me again
That enmity with divinity is no more
For unto Me I'm calling them forth
To bring them joy without distraught
Just as I have changed their lot
All because I Love Them much
If only they would believe my truth
To me, they should look up to
And receive my love for them in truth
Then they'll see my glory shine upon them
And my presence in the midst of them
So perfect and so true
Knowing that My love for them would Never Be Erased!

As you braved through the worlds greatest disasters
Right in the midst of terrorism storm
For your trials and pains
Agonies and tears
Have not met with disdain

Thus we refuse to ignore your struggles
Through many days of gloom
Rather with a word of Grace
We speak ease to your pains
Not that by it the hurts would go ablaze
But a soothing Balm it would be to your soul
For I know a comforter

Healing every hurt that remains
For a thousand words can never fill
The void we feel at every loss still
But a breath of love from the Lord of peace

Our very present help in those times of need

Thus on a gloomy eastern evening
The earth paled in attestation to His price
His sacrifice of love bore forth proves to show
Darkness overtook the land
The sun darkened in despair as the procession gingerly began
It was a procession to the grave
Yet in death the victory was won
For the veil was thorn in two
Our access wide open
Alas He cried anew, for His departure was in view
His Spirit yielded, the travail was over,
The crucifixion was done
Wrapped in swaddling cloth of linen
To the grave He was sent and laid
Buried forever never to be seen again
But No! they were mistaken
His life was not that frail
Divinity resonated in His members
That He should live again
For three days He laid still
In the belly of the earth He wrestled
To finish business in hell
Was His mission to accomplish
Therefore was He divided a portion with the great
And divided He the portion with the strong
Verily He took captivity captive
Even in the grave, He remained Lord
In abyss He won the victory
In hell He made the devil a crushed tapestry
He paraded evil totally spoiled in defeat
And gave us that believe the victory
Victory to Live, victory to Win
Victory unto Jubilee
Victory for all to See

Oh it was awful
Saddening would be an understatement

Such wrath, such hatred,

Out of him poured forth water and blood
His soul, decanting unto death

Though weak yet strong He hung in place
For He knew our redemption was His purchase
Unknown to all that our sins He bore
Him who knew no sin became sin for all
That by His tribulations unto death

Not by money nor price, it was a gift for all times
Oh what Love

That even in our acrimony
He interceded for us still

Even as it pierced his heart and soul
It was a gloomy eastern noon
The sun brutal with its torment of scotching heat
As the executioners of death
Pounded heavily the hammers of devastation
Upon the nails of anguish, into his dreary skin
His hands were pierced and so was His heart
Oh the pain, oh the agony
Oh the trauma, oh the cry
Far beyond what words could ever describe
Such affliction, such torment
Such suffering, such death
Oh such perseverance
I have never seen
It was the persecution of the ages
The misery of the century
The laceration of all times
The anguish beyond a moment.

An ironical paradox
No one could ever preconceive
Indeed this was a travail

In a world of global dwindling
Where the universe has become a crystal ball upon its axis reeling
The pressure is on and the game has begun
With every day comes a trend to keep up with the Jones
Every moment a tweet to follow
Every second a peep to hallo
The race of the maddening crowd it has become
Scholars have become circus clowns
Intellectuals have become shallow grounds
Emptiness pervades every space
Even in places once rich with undaunted ideas
A battle of the fittest it has become
