Chapter 10
I lay on my bed still processing what just happened, I stood up to him and his reaction wasn't anything I was expecting. Upon giving him a piece of my mind he had no words for me at all and I couldn't tell what he was thinking, he looked to the other side looked back at me with no expression at all then walked towards me  opened the door and told me to get out, he didn't sound harsh but you never know what Chad Park is thinking unless he says it.

It had been over three days and Chad hadn't spoke a word to me and neither has he crossed paths with me, he simply went MIA  and my guilty conscience started catching up with me, *maybe I shouldn't have said what I said *I thought to myself, *what was I thinking, *
The next day I was getting ready for school, everything was all set the books were already packed and I still couldn't make sense of how I was late for school, the school bus was 20 minutes earlier than me and there was no way I was going to catch another bus, I felt a little disappointed but there was no way I was going to miss  school.
If I could walk quite a distance from here I could get a bus from there. Mom gave me a kiss on the cheek said a little prayer then waved me goodbye, I turned to the left and Chad's car was still parked in the yard either ways he couldn't help me especially after what I told him. I walked quite a distance and a car behind me pulled over and to my amazement it was Chad, he still looked cold, emotionless and that scared me a bit not knowing what he was going to do then suddenly after a 30 seconds moment of silence he let out the words that took me by surprise.

"get in"

I looked behind me trying to make sure no one was standing there, I was confused and I slowly raised my hand and pointed my finger straight on my chest.

"ar-are you talking to me?"
He looked quite offended by my response then continued.

"I'm running late to school and if you want to stand there like a statue hoping for a savior to come by, you're on your own"

He started the ignition and my mind was a total mess trying to decide what to do, all over a sudden Chad Park is offering me a ride? The same person who told me not to go near his things, the same guy who told me to run away from his shadow?
I was contemplating and as soon as I heard the car ignition I panicked and quickly accepted his offer.

The whole ride to school was quiet and uncomfortable, each time I would look in his direction he would turn to face me and I would quickly pull away.
We finally reached school and upon shutting that door we both parted ways till school was over,
When we were at home I would try to reach out to him or at least make a conversation but he would totally shut me out all the time.

This went on for quite some time and I couldn't understand why he was nice to me and yet wouldn't want anything to do with me.

One Thursday morning nothing struck out of the ordinary, we were already in class all ready waiting on Mrs Tiffany's class even though nothing serious happens during her session other than her funny kind of dry jokes that we've probably heard over a thousand times.
History is a boring subject and having her spend so much time on jokes rather than teaching is better and even though her jokes are dry we just go with it and pretend we're enjoying her sense of humor but in the reality we're trying not to remind her of her duties.

It was 30 minutes before class ended and she was giving out our test papers then suddenly a strange face walked into the classroom, he was so tall and had a James Bond kind of look on him, his great physique would turn every girl's head and I bet every girl in class was drooling over him..
He introduced himself as the new kid and as he was walking over to his seat he made this strong eye connection with me in a way that it sent a burn straight in my stomach, a lovestruck kind of feeling.
