Chapter 7
I couldn't help but feel more indebted to Mrs park, after knowing that Chad had already left for school she decided to drop me off, upon reaching the school yard everything seemed so surreal, it looked so organized, green gardens, the beautiful flowers that looked like they're watered every second of the day, the buildings were so exquisite, they had European kind of touch classic and modern at the same time, everybody looked so neat in their uniforms and I looked at myself to see whether I would fit in in or not then Mrs Park held my shoulder and said,

"don't worry you'll be okay"
I gulped then stepped out of the car, I took a few steps then turned to look at her but she gave me this smile that was so comforting and at that point I knew I was going to be alright. I hate to admit that I felt like a kid going to school for the first time but after looking at Mrs Park everything felt better.. She waited and watched me get inside till I was no longer in sight. The school hall way was almost empty, I looked at my watch and class was 20 minutes away
*why aren't there a lot of people here, back home you'd find people running helter skelter even if class was about 2 minutes away *
I looked around in search of my locker but there was no way I was going to find it in a short amount of time in this large school hall way.

I felt a light brush of touch on my shoulder and I turned to look behind only to see a tall male figure smiling at me and I was kind of creeped out for a moment, how often do you see a stranger standing so close to you with a big smile spread all over their face? I took a step back and he quickly spoke up so as to not let me freak out more.
"I'm sorry that I startled you, I believe you're new here aren't you?"

"who are you?"
"my apologies again, I'm Ed the school captain and it's my duty to make sure that everyone's in class by this time and if you weren't new here you would have already known that"

He's first appearance had me creeped out but after he explained who he was I felt quite relieved and hopeful that he would direct me to my class.

"I'm Olivia and I'm just trying to find my way to class..."

After I explained everything to him  he knew right away which I class I belonged to its like he knows the school like the back of his hand.
Upon entering the class, a beautiful lady quite stylish for a teacher welcomed me and introduced me to the class which I find to be very uncomfortable.

I looked no further before I found a seat and as I was about to sit down the blonde girl that was sitting on the other side put her hand on the chair like she was trying to stop me from sitting on it. She looked up at me and gave me a smug smile and said,

"sorry this seat is taken"
"I don't see anyone's belongings on this seat" I said sounding quite defensive.
She then replied,
"Alexa sits here with me but she didn't come to school today, so I suggest you find another seat before you start looking for another seat tomorrow"

I was silent for a while then walked away, I kept looking around the room and everyone had their eyes focused on me, there was one empty seat that I took no hesitation to grab on to.

"is this seat taken?" I said trying to take  precautions.

She had her eyes fixed on a comic book which I thought was a little odd cause I don't get to see girls reading comics these days.

"mmm hmm" she murmured under breath.
"what?"
"yes, it's taken"
This wasn't how I thought the day would go and I was starting to feel unwelcomed.

"how bout you seat over there Olivia the seat is empty"
I looked at the teacher and even though they're trained to get too personal with the students I could tell that she felt bad for me.
I followed her directions and as soon as I got to the seat I took no time to grab onto it, the girl that was sitting beside me looked at me and her expression showed no emotions what so ever.

"finally it took you so long to find this seat huh?" she said trying to sound all sarcastic.

"yeah I am I don't like sitting in the front row, that's why it took me this long"

She was quite for a while then rolled her eyes and looked to the other side. Facing the drama with Chad is more than enough to handle and my first day at school is adding more load to my heavy burdened shoulder. I started wondering whether I made the right decision to come with mom to here,..
