Розумієш я могла б читати новини перелякана або сонна Я би навіть могла поїхати із України, але я залишаюсь вдома Тут навколо вода І нікого нема Навіть стріхи й дома Поховала вона Обійму журавля Й полечу крізь сніги Крізь холодні серця Стережись вороги. Лише вікна пусті Й посинілі вуста Лише шепіт "прости" Не спаслася й сама... ОБІЙМУ журавля і зроблю три круги Там де неня моя, де мої береги Я накрию крилом у моторнім човні Тих людей що разом помагали мені І хай їхнє добро засіває весь світ Збережи Україно увесь їхній рід Щоб сміливість і сила не торкалися дна Щоб жила Україна, моя рідна земля.
