Chapter 11
I hadn't seen him since Drew pulled me aside and I was hoping I could talk to him and find out how he's doing, Drew's appearance in the midst of our conversation was a bit unpleasant to him and I could tell he had so much to say but was beat up with frustration and jealousy just by looking at the way he was making his fist. I walked over to him but before I could get to him he walked away and left me hanging like a thread......
I never expected this kind of reaction from him, it was so unlike him, perhaps this is worse than I thought.

I was uncomfortable with the way David walked away last night that it had me up almost all night trying to figure out he's reason behind it. Usually when we're not in good terms we just shake it off after a while and get back to the way we were before but this time, this time feels different and I'm certain I'll be the one to pay the price.
Our whole flight back home was silent and not a word came out of his mouth, I tried to start a conversation with him but it was like pouring water in a siever.
After resuming to work about a week ago David and I have still been far apart and despite crossing each other's paths I never get the chance to talk to him. My boss handed me some paper work to give to David and though I was quite uncomfortable about it, I was hoping it would be a gateway to speak to him. Upon reaching his office I deeply inhaled the air then let it out in a way that one would when blowing out the candles on a birthday cake,my hands where shaky either ways I had to talk to him despite the anxiety, he's made feel so many things but not once has he made me feel this way, shaky, skeptical, anxious, nervous, scared of trying all at once.
As soon as I opened the door the whole atmosphere changed and I found myself in a really awkward position, like they always say"you lay on the bed you made"and indeed I really made this one. What was I thinking when I chose to walk away from him with another man's arm wrapped around me?.
Before I could say a word, he pointed to the desk without making eye contact with me and that was a really clear sign that he didn't want to talk to me. I slowly put the papers on the table as I looked at him,f*** this I don't care what he'll say to me but I have a lot to say that he needs to know about.
"you know silence isn't going to solve anything and you think that ignoring me or pushing everything that happened that night is okay, then you're wrong. What so ever reason you're angry with me about better let me know instead of...."
He cut me short before I could finish my sentence.
" I'm not mad at you, seeing you with someone else just made me realize that I was been selfish and I was depriving you from getting your own happiness. Adeline you and I both know that I have a fiancée whom I love very much and been with you would end up hurting you more than ever. So please let's stop this game of going back and forth before it reaches the point of no return. "
A game of back and forth? How dare he say this to me after leading me on countless times, I knew I had so much to say but I won't let anger get the best of me. Shortly after a lady came in and walked straight to him and kissed him like I was not around, so now I'm face to face with his fiancée. She looked at me and said with a smile, "hi pardon me for walking in like that but I just missed my honey boo so much, I've never seen you around here. Are you new?"
David couldn't even let me say a word and I could tell he was shaking and was overwhelmed by the whole situation.
"yes sweetheart, it's been a while since you've been here I didn't know you paid so much attention to the staff members, she's been working here for quite a while now. So ummm her name is Adeline and Adeline meet my fiancée Jade"
