Chapter 1
It's my second week at work and it still feels like my first day not that my boss is mean but because I'm worried about making any errors which might be costly, I always seek for perfection and any slight mistake might ruin everything I've worked so hard for. It feels so good to finally break out from the family chain that seems to never end, coming from a stable background everything was right there and then just by the snap of my  fingers, it's something I enjoyed until I went to high school. My friends called me crazy for not wanting the perfect life I had but honestly there was more than meets the eye, dad rarely spent time with us and mom would be the one to take care of the household often times, I thought that was okay until I found out the reason why dad was never home most of the times. It got me so furious and despite the many gifts he brought me it didn't change the trust and admiration I had lost  for him. Knowing about his other family brought so many changes to our home and that caused them to separate. I hate it when there's a third person in a relationship and it's something I never thought it would happen to us,he was the perfect father one could ever ask for and I liked having him around even if it were just for some minutes, he pampered my siblings and I with so many gifts and showed us so many existing places.

I tied my hair backwards, grabbed my  car keys and headed off to work. I still couldn't believe I was living alone miles and miles away from my family and I bet mom is still worried about me.

After high school I started working for my father which I wasn't really happy about, he likes to keep it tradition and I know you're probably wondering why I worked for him despite the betrayal but we resolved our issue and everything is okay between us all well except my mom and no matter how much she tries to hide it I know that she's still hurting. I didn't want to be leaving in my father's  shadow so I had to persue my dream career which took me less time than I thought it would, I've always wondered what it's like to make  it my own and I'm glad that I'm finally doing it. I've watched mom raise my siblings and I and I applaud her for that, she's a strong woman and that is something I hope to be one day,

After some minutes of driving I still have like 45 minutes before work starts and hopefully that will be enough to have some breakfast cause I hate working on an empty stomach, I drove by to the nearest Cafe which was less than 30 minutes from work,

"hello, welcome to sternberg's coffee shop what can I offer you"
"a hot cup of chocolate coffee and two pancakes please"
"alrighty, coming right up, any topping"
"no just make it plain"
"sure"

I took of my blazer and the weather was as refreshing as the start of a new chapter in my life, no drama around, no silver plata or spoon in front of me, this was all me, all on my own and I'm excited to see what's next.
In less than 20 minutes I finished eating and drove off to work, huuuuh that beautiful excitement of walking in feeling like a boss lady got me all fired up and everybody turning heads as soon as I passed them. I shouldn't have wore these nude high heel shoes and to top it all my favorite black knee high dress that traces each curve of my body. I checked my attendance and confidently walked to my desk to begin my task which seemed to be endless. My desk was piled up with files and projects I had to complete for that week, I love writing but I didn't think it would be this stressful, how am I supposed to come up with a good story that will catch the public's attention in less than 24 hrs.
A lot of time had passed and I was still searching for more things to add to my story and keep it inviting.
Not long after a tall figure walked past me and as soon as looked up he was steps away from me too far to catch a clear glimpse of him but by looking at his back view he looked quite expensive, not that I care but I couldn't help noticing how well groomed he looked, boy I could tell for sure that was no ordinary suit he had on him, and his walk represented a confident man with dignity and class. My eyes followed him all the way to the end of the passage till he opened the door that led to (my boss) Mr Thompson's office.
I pulled myself from the distraction of his figure and continued to write the article and staring at my laptop over and over as my frustration increased.
It wasn't long after my boss called me and I quickly got up to meet his demand until it hit me that the gorgeous man I saw seconds ago is in his office. What do I do now?
