As far as I have read was amazing but, in my opinion I feel if you make each chapter a new character then it will get confusing and will take away the details of the book. Idk hope that made sense

Actually I saw this style of writing in a book I recently read and it helps to add more details, which I usually miss in my books. And Yeah, I agree it makes it a bit confusing.
