It was nine in the evening when I received a call from Zachriah's hospital. The receptionist called me, she wanted me to come to the hospital. She told me that, Dr. Zachriah, Dr. Lena (Zachriah's wife) and their children are dead.
I went to the hospital, looked at the bodies. They were lying of the floor like the number 'VIII'. Zachriah was 'V' and the others were 'I'. Joe, the youngest son was beheaded.
I checked Oliver's cell, he was missing. I checked the camera footages and saw Oliver killing them. From the hospital staffs, I came to know about Zachriah's affair with a nurse.
The receptionist came to me. She gave me a letter she found in Oliver's cell.
I read that letter.
'I started by killing Sharun and today, it's twenty-fifth, his birthday. My batch of ten is completed. I was sent here by the god to complete a task and since I have completed it, there's no room for me in this world.
Thank you Scott, for making me the beast, I never wanted to be. I'm sorry Rachel. I never meant to hurt you. I love you more than my life.
We'll never meet again. Bye.'
I kept that letter in my pocket and walked out of the hospital, looked at the sky. I knew, I had found the one last job I have to do before retiring.
