This morning MCPD received a call from Maxwell. He was shouting and crying and saying his wife and daughter are dead. Me and Oliver, my junior went to his house. The doors were opened so, we walked in. I saw Maxwell sitting on the floor holding Megan and Emily close to his chest. When I saw Emily's beheaded body, I was shocked.
'How can a man be so cruel to behead a two year old girl? ' I asked myself.
The second question I asked myself was 'Why did he beheaded Emily and not Megan? '
Me, Oliver and the doctors from Forensic department searched near the body for evidence. But, since Maxwell has moved the body, he has given a chance of escaping to the Murderer. We went to the kitchen and found Emily's head in the sink.
The house seemed clean and tidy which means the killer had killed them in a single blow and didn't give any time for them to react or he may have cleaned the house to destroy the evidence. We talked to their neighbors, they said, they heard loud arguments between Megan and Maxwell, which often happens.
The forensic department examined their bodies. They said, the murder occurred between twelve and one in the morning. And, Megan was drunk.
They said, the killer hit Megan twice, on her head using an iron rod or something like that. Water was found in the lungs of Emily, she died if drowning.
We don't know how the killer got in and out of the house. All we have now, is a big question mark sing in front of our eyes.
