Knowledge sat at his brothers bedside going in and out of sleep. He hoped and prayed that his brother would wake up but a piece of him was starting to doubt it. He looked so bad with all the bandages and tubes in his body. It was heart breaking. And to make matters worse, the first person he thought could be behind it all, was Cyrus; the same mother fucker who killed Stacy's dad.

Cyrus was a well known Cartel Boss with a reputation that he lived up to. Once he arrived to a city, he would spread like disease, killing innocent people just to gain the fear and respect from those who lived there so he would have the opportunity to make more money. Even befriending the police and FBI was something he did very well. In other words, he was a BIG PROBLEM!

There could only be one reason why his fathers home was invaded; word on the street was that Cyrus was on a mission to seize control over every local drug lord in, California, Florida, Miami, Chicago, Atlanta and maybe more. But if he thought he would take over the King Cartel territory, he was wrong.

For now Cyrus was the least of his worries. Vicky had just arrived at the hospital and he knew she would blame him for Tahj being shot.

"Tahj! My baby!"
Just like he expected, Vicky came crashing into the room, tumbling over her feet and almost falling into Knowledge.

"Ma, relax he's fine." He told her

"Don't tell me to relax! My son has been shot and if you wasn't laid up with that Bitch you could have saved him!"

Knowledge stood up and towered over her. "I did save him! How the fuck do you think he got here? The second he called me I came to his rescue so don't you dare say that shit to me!"

Vicky waved a hand at him implying that the conversation was over. Realizing he had just raised his voice at his mother, he calmed down and sat in the chair.

"He's fine ma," he continued. "Doctors said he'll wake up we just don't know when."

"He's in a coma!"

"No, but they had to perform emergency surgery so he'll be out of it for a while."

Just then Amber walked in. She raced pass Knowledge and wrapped her arms around Tahj while crying hysterically

"Be careful sis, he's still fragile." He said

With tears in her eyes, she looked up at him and fell into his arms. "I'm so sorry Kai, I didn't see you there."

"It's ok. The doctors said he'll survive but he's heavily sedated so he'll be asleep for a few days maybe. We can't really put a time on it."

Amber grabbed a few tissues from the box on the dresser and pulled up a chair next to Knowledge.

Vicky stood at the window watching pedestrians go along. "I have a surprise coming." She said

"Surprise?" They answered simultaneously

Vicky turned to them with a smile on her face. Whatever it was, she was happy about it. Knowledge was nervous; anytime his mother smiled like that, she was always up to no good.

Amber had a puzzled look as if she wanted to ask but knowing Vicky, she thought it was best Not to ask.

The room door began to open and though they thought it was the nurse or the doctor, it was somebody they never expected.

"Hello?" Said the mystery person.

When Knowledge heard that voice, his eyes almost popped out his head.

It was Diamond, Knowledge's most recent ex-girlfriend and probably the most obsessed with him out of them all. She walked in smiling and going straight to Vicky for a big hug.

"Surprise!" Said Vicky

Amber looked like she wanted to punch Vicky in the face! She couldn't believe Vicky would bring her up here after everything this girl put them through.

"Vicky, can I speak to you for a minute please?" Said Amber, and she got up to step out the room.

Once they were out, Diamond directed her attention to Knowledge.

"Hey daddy!" She moved seductively towards him in her tight revealing red dress.

"You know we not cool so don't try it." He grabbed her arm, stopping her hand from touching his face.

"Damn, its like that? We haven't seen each other in over two years and that's how you act? You can't still be mad."

"Let's not forget the reason why we stopped talking in the first place. You cheated, remember?"

Diamond sucked her teeth and walked to the opposite side of Tahj's bed.

"Why are you here?" He asked

"I was in town and I wanted to see your mom so she told me to meet her here, so here I am. We can talk about that later, How's he doing?" She asked

"Better."

Just then, Amber and Vicky came back into the room. The whole conversation she had with Vicky didn't do anything. Vicky still didn't regret bringing this girl to the hospital. Diamond was who she couldn't considered her favorite out of all the girls friends her son had and it didn't matter what anybody else felt. They had a special bond.

Knowledge walked over to Amber and pulled her to the side.

"We gotta get her and mom out of here. I talked to Stacy and she should be here any minute." He told her

"Shit!" She looked around as if the answer would be right there in her face. "You've gotta stop her. There's no way Vicky is leaving Kai, we both know this. That's her son on that bed. The fact that she brought Diamond here means she's not going anywhere either."

He rubbed the back of his head nervously and then pulled out his phone to call Stacy. He didn't know what he was going to say but all hell would break loose if she showed up.

To his misfortune, Stacy wasn't answering the phone anymore and he felt his stomach turn into knots!

Meanwhile, Stacy was just getting off work. This was the third day she didn't see Raven at work and she was starting to get worried about her. But right now, supporting Knowledge was her first concern. Once she had received the call from him saying where he was, she turned her phone off to save the 10% battery she had left in case of emergency.

When she arrived at the hospital, it dawned on her that she never asked Knowledge what the room number was so she went to the front desk and asked the lady sitting there.

As she took the elevator up to the correct floor, Knowledge and Amber thought about how they could stop this disaster from happening.

But it was too late, Stacy was coming!

"Hello?" Said Stacy. She calmly walked into the room with a pleasant expression ....until she saw Vicky standing there.

"Hey girl, lets go." Said Amber. She tried to turn Stacy back to the door.

"Go? I came to see Tahj, how is he?"

Knowledge walked up to her, giving her a slight hug and a peck on the lips trying not to direct Diamond's attention to them.

Diamond cleared her throat unnecessarily loud when they kissed and Stacy couldn't help but hear it. "Mm" she said, and rolled her eyes

"Mm what?" Stacy asked her.

"Look let's not,"

"Shut up Kai," said Vicky. "It's time for this hoe to learn the truth."

"Ma, stop it! There's no truth to learn."

"Like hell it is. You need to stop being a wimp and tell her like it is. You can't have your cake and eat it too. Not anymore!"

"What is she talking about?" Stacy looked to Knowledge for the answer

"This is who he really wants to be with," Vicky started. "You were just a favor."

"Ma!"

"Naw fuck that Kai! I want you to be happy"

"Excuse me?" Said Stacy

"You heard me tramp! This is who he really loves, you're just a good fuck."

"Yea trick, me and Knowledge have been seeing each other for five years." Diamond added on. "The only reason he's with you is because John asked him too. So don't get comfortable. I've been gone for a while but I'm back like I never left!"

"Stacy don't believe them ok, their lying!"
He tried to hug her but she pushed him away.

Amber stood there in amazement, seeing how far they would go to hurt Stacy.

"And not only that, we have child back in New Jersey. And I'll be damned if you break up our happy home!"

That was the last straw for Amber. She lunged at Diamond and smacked her in the face.

"Stop it!" Vicky yelled getting in between them before Diamond could strike back.

Knowledge stepped in, pulling Amber to the door. He held her back and tried to calm her while Vicky held Diamond back on the far side of the room.

"Everybody just calm down!"

"Calm down shit!" Amber screamed. "It's already bad enough that bitch is here but then she's lying about a child. Hell No, Not to my sister!"

Stacy had heard enough. She didn't know what to think or who to believe. Diamond was a bridge she would have to cross later But she was done with the disrespect from Vicky and she was ready to give the old hag a piece of her mind.

"You know what Vicky, I'm sick of your shit! No more calling me out my name or anything else you can think of. You're the bitch! You're the one trying to live your love life through your son. You're a grown ass woman with two grown ass kids, don't you think it's time to grow the fuck up! Yea, this is that reality check you've been missing. Well I'm here to give it to you." She stepped up to Vicky and got in her face. "If you ever disrespect me again, I WILL split your shit wide open, you hear me? I don't give a fuck about you or that scared bitch behind you." She turned Knowledge.  "You want her that bad, you can have her!"

And with that, she stormed out the room.
Amber turned to Vicky who was stuck. She definitely wasn't expecting that response from Stacy and Amber was happy that somebody put Vicky in her place.

Knowledge tried to chase after her but Amber stopped him. There was nothing he could do or say right now to get Stacy to talk to him. Instead, she took her purse and followed Stacy.

"Stacy wait!"

Amber had to literally run just to catch up to her by the time she got to the elevator.

Stacy dropped down to the floor and cried as the elevator doors closed. Amber held her until they reached the first floor. She felt so bad for her. Over the months that she's been there, Amber grew to really like Stacy. They had so much in common and she was a cool person to be around. To see her hurting from the same person she suffered from, hurt her.

"Come on, let's get to the car. I'll take you home."

Amber tried not to say anything during the ride but by the time they got back to the house, she felt it in her heart that she should have a talk with her.

"Thanks for the ride." Stacy said sadly. She was prepared to open the door but Amber grabbed her arm and stopped her.

"Ya know, I didn't just smack her because of what she said, well that's part of the reason. The other reason is because, four years ago, she seduced Tahj by slipping something in his drink and then she slept with him."

"What!"

"Yea, the dumb bitch told on herself when she decided to text him a few days later to ask him what he thought about her stank ass pussy. Tahj didn't even remember what happened."

"Knowledge must have been pissed huh?"

"He doesn't know."

Stacy's eyes widened. "What do you mean he doesn't know? That's not the reason why they broke up?"

"Nope, the stupid bitch got caught up with another man. Tahj made me promise not to tell him because he feared Kai wouldn't believe him. I didn't want to ruin their relationship. It took me some time to figure out if he was telling the truth and eventually I did. She's a snake Stacy so don't believe her."

"I don't know, it still makes me wonder why she's even here in the first place. I guess I just need time to think it over."

"Nothing wrong with that? But hey, can I be honest with you for a second?"

"Sure."

"I think Tahj is still cheating. We've had problems before and he promised me he wouldn't do it again but I'm starting to see the same behavior from when he was cheating. So, I've been seeing this guy I went to college with. We met up and had some drinks then one thing led to another. The first time I felt so bad but Tahj didn't help when he would stay out all night sometimes for more than a day. So I started going out with him more. I really love Tahj but I don't know how to step away now."

"You need to find out if He's really cheating. If he is, you know you made the right decision,"

"And if he's not?"

"Then confess it and explain it to him. If he can't understand after you forgave him for his infidelity then maybe you need to consider where y'all relationship is headed."

Amber pulled Stacy into a hug. "Thank You so much!"

"Any time."

Though she was glad to help Amber, she was still walking away with a heavy heart. She wanted to believe Knowledge so bad but her fear of being wrong worried her. She wasn't about to sit around and be the victim. He could have all the fun with Diamond if he wanted. Travis was finally coming back to the club after a long vacation. She was ready for 'The Tease' again and this time, No Knowledge would be there to stop it!
