A few hours early...

If Tahj wasn't my brother, I would have snapped his fucking neck for sleeping with Diamond. And the worst part was, he never planned to tell me.

On top of all the bullshit that's been going on, to think that I lost Stacy over a bitch who drugged me and my brother on purpose is a huge problem. Stacy was becoming more than just a friend or just somebody I was hired to protect. I was starting to love this girl.

Shit, the last girl I ever told "I love you" to was Diamond hoe ass. So for me to feel this way about Stacy says A LOT!

I wasn't letting this night go by without talking to Stacy so I can get some answers. Or maybe I just wanted to hear her voice. But for now, Moe was calling me and I knew it was for some shit I had to handle.

"What's good my nigga?"
I put the phone on speaker.

"I hate to disturb you boss but I got some serious shit to tell you. Better yet show you."

"What's up?"

"I think you should come down here to trap 2 So you can see for yourself."

"Man you know I don't like surprises. At least give me a hint."

"Ite. All ima say is that I found out who tried to rob us at the shipment. "

"Say no more. I'm on the way!"

I freshened up, threw on a all black fit and jumped in my car. I reached in the secret compartment that I made specifically to hold my heat just to make sure it was still there.

I did at least 80 all the way thinking of a plan that would torture the shit out of the muh fucka' who chose to try me.

As always, when I walked up to the door Moe was standing there waiting for me.  Only this time he didnt seem so calm. His face was red and he looked as if somebody just pissed him off.

"Everything ite?" I asked when I dapped him up.

"I wish I could say that."

He locked the door behind us and lead the way to my office. He had 3 surveillance tapes laid out on the desk.

As I took a seat behind my desk, Moe grabbed the remote and proceeded to play back the tapes.

"So you know how Malik snitched on Roos about the money? I found out why."

I sat forward and watched the tape closely as Moe explained to me what he figured out.

"After that attempt at the shipment, I took it upon myself to see what the fuck was really going on. Nobody noticed how Malik was the only one that was off to the side when those niggas pulled up on us. My guess is because he was with the shit. I went all the way back to a few weeks ago. Now if you look closely boss you'll see Roos and Malik sneaking in through the side door and stealing the money that we found in Roos house the day before I realized it was missing."

"Shit!"
I couldn't believe what I was seeing.

"That's not all boss. When I came in this morning, I did my usual walk through and everything was straight except for the safe."

I jumped up from the chair and went to the safe that was hidden in the wall behind a huge picture of my mother and father. When I got it opened, it was completely empty.

"Before you start shooting shit up," Moe continued. "Let me show you why you should hold that anger in right now."

With my fists balled up tightly and steam practically shooting out from my ears like a cartoon, I sat down so Moe could finish.

"I looked at the all the tapes. But one in particular caught my attention. This one from last night."

This time I saw Malik sneaking up to that same side door at 4 am. But he wasn't alone.

"This is something he's been planning for a while boss. He made a copy of the keys somehow and then let two other unknown men through that same door a few minutes later. He had to make sure nobody was here first. I think Malik tried to have you killed so he could take the money without too much attention. It's the only explanation that makes sense."

"And here I am giving Malik the fuckin ' benefit of the doubt."

"I'm guessing they were working together and maybe Roos wanted to back out which would explain why Malik would rat him out. So once Roos was out the picture, he finished the job with two other people."

"Clever mutha fucka'. But not clever enough."

I went back to the safe and grabbed the machete my father made from his own hands and placed it on the desk.

"Call Que, Rell and Dean. Tell everybody I said there's a mandatory meeting tonight! Time to make a example out of this nigga."

10 p.m.

I sat in my office chair watching the cameras as all the workers from Trap house 1 ,2 and 3 showed up for the meeting.

Dean was the one in charge at trap 2. Que and Rell were in charge of trap 3 and Moe was the overseer for trap 1,2 and 3.

With my red-handled machete in hand and my pistol in my pants, I walked into the meeting room which was located in the basement of the house.

"Every body form a circle around the table." Moe demanded.

On cue the workers did as told.
I had Moe place the wooden table directly in the middle of the floor with a chair. I pressed my way through the crowd of 30 workers and placed my machete on the table. When I looked at them, they looked like they were about to shit their pants.

That fear, that respect... that's what I strived for. I had a reputation to live up to since my father was known for his ruthless ways. All this extra shit with Stacy had me falling off bad. So tonight I aimed to make the perfect example of this situation. But one person was missing.... Malik.

I circled the table trying to see who else looked guilty. At this moment I couldn't trust anybody except Moe.

"Somebody in this room has betrayed me." I started.

As soon as I started talking, Malik staggers his drunk ass into the room.

"Nice of you to join us Malik."

"Sorry boss. I uh.. had some business to handle. Won't happen again."

"Oh I know it wont."

I kept walking around the table and that's when I saw my young nigga lil Dre was here. His real name is Deandre Mills. He only about 13 maybe 14 years old. But I've seen him go harder than some of these grown ass men. He been out here on the streets since he was like 10 cause his mom's don't treat him right. When I found him, he was almost dead from a gunshot after he tried to rob somebody just so he could eat. I took him under my wing and mentored him. Showed him how to defend his self out here and how to make some money while occasionally give him a place to sleep when ever I could catch up to him. Lil nigga stay on the go more than I do. I hated that he had to see what was about to happen but it's the rules of the game. Shit, maybe he'll learn something from it.

I gave lil Dre a head nod to say what's up and his face lit up with excitement. Clearly he missed me.

"Like I was saying, somebody in this room is guilty of betrayal. And if it's one thing y'all know I value, it's loyalty. But ya know sometimes you get greedy muh fuckas' who only look out for themselves."

They were terrified now. Nobody knew what was about to happen next.

"When I call your name, please step forward and sit in this chair."  I stood behind the chair and pointed. "Malik. Step forward."

I could see the terror on his face.  He was so scared that he didnt move.

"Don't make me have to come get you." I warned him.

The workers quickly made a path for him to come through as if they were glad it was him and not them. Malik plopped down in the chair with a puzzled look on his face.

"Boss, I would nev-"

"Sshhh. Now is not the talking part. This is the part when you listen." I walked around to the other side of the table so he could see my face.  "I did everything I could for you Malik. If it wasn't for me, you wouldn't have shit. I'm the reason you survive nigga! But you just had to go behind my back."

"Boss please-"

I placed my finger to my lips and he stopped talking.

"Why did you rat on Roos? Was it cause he tried to back out of the plan? Or you just wanted it all for yourself? See I know what you did. I saw everything.
I saw you and Roos sneak in here and steal from me once. Then you had the nerve to bring two random niggas in my shit to steal everything I have in the safe. Do you know how long it took me to get to where I am now?" He looked like he was about to say something so i punched him in the face. He grabbed his face and grunted.

"Maybe I need to remind you who I am."
I

picked up the machete and swung it in air a few times.  "Hold your right arm out."

He just looked at me terrified. So I signaled to Moe. He grabbed hold of Malik's arm and forced it down on the table.

"Hold him still!" I told him. Malik started shaking and sweating, never taking his eyes off my machete.

"Tell me where to find the other two."
He remained silent. "Are you really gonna do this right now?"
I don't know if he was tryna act all tough or if he was so scared that he couldn't talk. But I was getting madder by the second. Where are they!" I yelled in his face. He still wouldn't answer me.
"Suit yourself."
I raised my machete and came down on his fingers, chopping off the pointer and middle finger.

"Ahhhhhhhhhh!" Malik screamed like a bitch. His blood squirts out, leaking on the table.

I watched him cry and sob but I wasn't done. Moe kept his arm pressed down on the table as I raised my machete a second time and then chopped off his arm up to the elbow. The blood splurged out hitting some of the workers. He screamed harder and almost passed out. His bright red shirt had turned dark red from all the sweat.

"No, no, no!" I slapped him on the face. "You don't get to go to sleep right now. You gotta stay up for the rest of the show."   I sat him up straight. "This is the part where you start talking. Give me the names?"

"Eddie and Amero!" He blurted out.

"Where can I find them?"

"T-there in a h-house off T-taylor avenue. 3250 Taylor Avenue."

"Niggas like you don't deserve to live. You have them take part in your dirty work only to throw them under the bus."

I tapped him on the face as a way of thanking him and then pulled Moe to the side.

"Tell Que and Rell to go to Malik's house and find my money. Tell Dean to stay here. You'll come with me to get those other niggas."

Moe nodded and went on his way.

Malik's blood was dripping all over my damn floors. Now I had a mess to clean up. More importantly I needed somebody to stay behind and keep a eye on shit here and I couldn't think of nobody better than my lil nigga Dre. So I called him over while they got ready to head out.

"Kai! What's good nigga?"

"Watch your mouth young blood." I dapped him. "What you doing out here? I thought shit was good between you and your moms."

"Yea I did too. But you know how she do."

"Yea and I also know how you do. So what really happened?"

"I got into another fight at school. Mom's kicked me out."
He dropped his head.

"Another one?"
I pulled him into the next room to talk one on one.
"Look man, you can't keep fighting cause niggas wanna talk shit about you. Haters ain't going no where ya hear me?"  He agreed.  "You already know you can't count on your mom's so you gotta get it for yourself. And if you don't get your shit together in school, you gon be like the rest of them niggas out there struggling to survive and depending on niggas like me so they can eat. You got so much more to offer the world Dre. Don't be like me, be better than me."

"Man I'm glad your back." Dre smiled.

"Me too." I dapped him again. "I have a job for you. Probably the most important job you could have right now."

"Anything for you Kai."

"I gotta go get this money they stole from me. So I need you to hold shit down over here. Take this,"  I handed him my pistol.  "Keep these niggas in check and if any body try something you know what to do. Keep the safety on for now."

He gave me the salute and tucked the pistol in his pants.

"Ready boss? Que and Rell already left." Moe interuppted.

"Yea let's move out."
