Загасне світло у вікні твоєму, Затихнуть співи вечорми. І не закінчивши поему, Закінчиш існувати ти. Загасне блиск в очицях твоїх, Затихне стукотіння серця. І не звучатиме той сміх, Що міг зігріти моє серце. Згасне бажання жити далі, Куди тепер мені іти? Ми ж одне одному пообіцяли, Що будем разом назавжди. Загасне світло у вікні моєму, Затихне плач мій вечорми. І я закінчивши поему, Піду туди, де будем разом ми.
