Le miroir révélateur

Respirant la solitude absente dans ma journée J'observe les émotions de mon reflet La lumière cogne le miroir M'empêchant de davantage voir Je fais le point sur mes actions de ce jour Je réfléchis et  lentement, fais le tour De mes pensées désordonnées, Pleines de mensonges et d'honnêteté Je pose ma main sur la vitre éblouie Qui s'y est admiré aujourd'hui ? Les rayons impitoyables du soleil cruel Rendent la pièce irréelle Respirant la solitude absente toute ma journée Je plisse les yeux pour voir mon reflet Mais la lumière aveuglante du soleil couchant M'empêche de voir mon regard correctement La lumière est si forte que je ne distingue plus mon expression J'en oublie peut à peut mes ambitions Si je n'avais jamais eu de visage sous tous ces masques Qui m'étouffent et me cachent ? Et si Dix ans plus tard J'étais aussi Devant ce miroir ?

I Saw a Dream

I saw a dream, and there were you, And there was coldness in your eyes. I wonder what a kind of true Made you become as cold as ice. And later I looked back to get a sense This empty glance was hellish call of past. It used to be a high and strong defense Against the world, the pain and me at last. You looked at me, and peering in your soul, I felt so lonely, as something vital died. And that is what I fear most of all - That nothing gentle will remain inside. Inside of you. Inside of me as well. And nothing will be said to farewell.
