The two teenagers were the first two to enter the train car and thus had a lot of choices on where to sit as they waited for these two long hours to pass. "We're... alone?" Dawn said in a tone of disbelief. "Yeah, it appears that nobody travels at Allentown on a Tuesday at 21:30! What a surprise!" Michael replied in a sarcastic tone. "Ha ha you're so funny!" She said continuing the sarcasm. Michael ignored her statement as he sat on the last seat at the end of the train car. "Here." He said patting the seat beside him. "Oh my what a gentleman!" The blue eyed girl said being sarcastic, again. Despite her statement, she gladly sat beside him. "Two hours to go...! Yay..." Michael said, surely not looking excited. "Hey..." Dawn said calling out to him. "What's wrong miss invisible?" The red haired teenager said trying to light up the mood. "I know I've asked you before... But why are you doing this? You're helping me out so much, even though you don't know a thing about me." The black haired girl said as she looked at him through his glistening yellow eyes. "If your only concern about this matter is that I don't actually know you, then why don't we get to know each other better?" He said slighty smiling. "That's not my point!" Dawn replied. "I know. You want to know why I'm actually helping you out... Let's see..." He said scratching his chin in thought. "You kinda remind me of my little sister four months ago. She was lost and desperate just like you. When I saw you in that state I couldn't hesitate helping you out." Michael explained looking out the window, when the bullet train had just started moving. "What happened to your sister back then?" She asked looking moved. "That's a tale for another day miss." He said looking at her with a smile. "Spoilsport!" She said puffing out her right cheek. "Since we have a long time to go... Why don't you take me up on my offer?" He said. "First you don't say anything about you or your family, and then you want me to talk about myself! Something is fishy about you I can feel it!" She said looking at him angrily. "Some things are better left unsaid miss Pierce. And besides that, you don't want to hear a teary story right now!" Michael said smilling once again. "So will you tell me about yourself? I mean it could be pretty usefull for finding the one responsible for the curse!" He continued. "Mhmm... Okay." She said nodding positively. "My name is Dawn Pierce as you already know... My father owns a dojo outside of New York where he spends most of his time. My mother is always away from the country for meetings and business because she works as an accountant for a big company which I can't recall it's name. And here I am, living in an apartment in New York, alone, with no siblings at all. I rarely see my parents because they are always busy." Dawn thoroughly explained. "You said your father is a dojo owner huh? Is that the reason why you're so efficient with martial arts?" Michael asked. "Exactly. I always wanted acknowledgement from him. He always said he wanted a son. A strong one. Someone that could become a great martial Artist and on top of that, a great magician. So that's why I entered this Academy. To show him that he doesn't need a son. I want to show him that I can be a respectable magician too. But now that he is always concerning himself with a rival dojo owner who is trying to take away our customers, he never has time for his daughter." The black haired girl explained thoroughly. "So all you want is to be acknowledged huh? Have you ever thought about what you want to do in your life?" The red haired teenager asked. "I do... I want to be a great magician! And show the world that a woman can become the strongest ice magician in the World!" She said with passion. "I bet if you go on with this attitude you will eventually succeed." He agreed. "Now that I know about you, It's only natural of me to help you, right?" Michael said laughing. "Hey you haven't told me anything about yourself!" Dawn said puffing out her right cheek again. "What should I- Oh wait up I gotta get this!" He said as he stopped midway because his phone was ringing. "Hello? Stephanie, what happened?" The red haired teenager said as he picked up the phone. "Oni-chan! A cat is in our yard and I think she's lost!" Stephanie could be heard saying through his phone. The two teenagers laughed hearing the little girl's sentence. "Okay Stephanie you can let her in if you want! But if she is hostile then call the police or something I don't know!" He said laughing. "No Stephanie you can't let her sleep in my bed!" He said changing his voice's tone. "Okay, okay just be careful little sis! Goodnight." Michael said as he hung up the phone. "That girl..." Michael said looking out the window. "So what do you wanna-" The red haired teenager continued but stopped once he realized Dawn had fallen asleep with his shoulder as a pillow. "You must have been worn out..." He said silently as he looked at her drooling face. "She acts tough but she is sensitive and unprotected on the inside. Just like any other girl." He thought. "I bet they fear her at the Academy because she doesn't let anyone invade her personal space. She didn't let me do that either. Perhaps she is too fixed up on her achieving her goal that she doesn't care about being alone. But when she was in need... She looked as though she could need some help. A lot in fact." His train of thoughts started as he continued looking at her. "I wish everyone could get to know her real self. Shutting someone out because you think you know them is cruel to be honest. This girl needs help. I won't let her disappear from this world or be forgotten." Michael thought letting his train of thoughts go wild. "You can't do everything alone, idiot..." He whispered to her.
