The sun had risen once again and the birds were singing signs which showed that a new day had began. The slight sunlight that made it's way inside the hostel's room was falling exactly on top of the girl's close eyes, which caused her disturbance and resulted in her, waking up. Dawn slowly opened her eyes and gazed upon the room's ceiling, which she reasonably couldn't recall. Seconds after the black haired girl realised where she was and arose from the bed. "Good morning, sleeping beauty." Michael said leaning on the balcony's wall with a paper cup of coffee in his hands and a smile. "Good morning... How long have you been awake?" Dawn said rubbing her eyes with her wrists as she got up. "Since yesterday! In fact I didn't sleep at all." The red haired teenager said laughing. "Are you an idiot?! Why didn't you sleep?!" She said after a powerful yawn looking angry. "Because I didn't feel sleepy!" He said looking away to the beautiful scenery their balcony had to offer. "You're such a dork honestly..." The blue eyed girl pointed out as she headed for the bathroom. "How should I tell her that I didn't sleep because I thought that if I did I would forget about her...?" Michael said to himself. "So what's the plan?" Dawn asked as she got out of the bathroom after two minutes or so. "Hmm." The red haired teenager said when he turned and looked at Dawn who was already wearing her clothes and her hair tied up as usual. "First of all, here." The yellow eyed boy said as he handed over a paper cup of coffee to her. "What's that?!" Dawn asked. "I don't know about you, but we earthlings, call it coffee. Since I was bored I grabbed some for you too, from the coffee shop nearby." Michael explained as he took a sip from his cup. "I'm asking about the type of coffee, not the DRINK ITSELF MORON!" The dark haired girl replied in anger. "Oh, that's a cappuccino. I ordered a sweet one. JUST LIKE YOU!" The red haired teenager winked at her and started laughing. "Jeez... Thanks anyway..." Dawn said blushing. "Hey you never told me what's the plan about!!" She said remembering her question. "Oh yeah. I thought that we should visit your aunt. I'll ask her if she is Dawn Pierce's aunt and if she says yes then we are all set to return. On the other hand, if the answer is no then we'll see." He explained. "Okay, Off we go then!" She said getting up from her seat. "Woah, Woah. Wait! Where exactly does she live?" Michael posed a fair question. "She lives just 10 minutes away by bus from the train station." Dawn explained. "So you know how to get there?" Michael asked. "Yeah, I do." The black haired girl replied once again. "OKAY, OFF WE GO THEN!" He said mimicking his female companion.

The two teenagers left the hostel and walked to the bus station in order to get their "business" done in Allentown and finally get back home. "So this is the place?" Michael said pointing at a house in front of him minutes after walking away from where they disembarked from the bus. "Yeah that's it. I'll be waiting here while you knock on the door and ask." Dawn said leaning on the house's gateway. "Roger that!" Michael said walking up the small steps to get to the front door.   The doorbell wrote "Mary Pierce". "That's the place indeed." He said ringing on the door bell. "Hello, is anyone there??" The red haired teenager said. A tall woman with straight, long black hair and green eyes opened the door. "Hello young man! What brings you here?" She said with a kind voice. "Are you Dawn Pierce's aunt by any chance?" Michael asked politely as well. "Hmm... Dawn, you said?" The woman asked in response. "Yeah, Pierce Dawn!" He replied in an energetic tone. "That name doesn't ring a bell young man... I'm pretty sure I'm not an aunt! My brother hasn't got any kids that I know of!" Miss Pierce said laughing. "Oh okay... Sorry for disturbing you miss Pierce." The red haired teenager said as he cleared the house's entrance. "Don't worry about it!" She said closing the door with a smile. "Daw-" He tried to say but he realised she was already crying. "I'm sorry..." He said looking away. "I'll find the one responsible for this, I promise." Michael said putting his hand over her head pulling her closer. She rested her head on his shoulder with tears falling from her eyes. Suddenly a phone's ringtone broke the silence. Both of them froze in place. Michael couldn't recognise the ringtone. It was Dawn's phone. She quickly took it off her bag and picked it up. "HELLO?" She said wiping away her tears. "Is that Dawn Pierce?" A woman's voice could be heard from the other side of the call. "YEAH YEAH THAT'S ME!" The blue eyed girl said really excited. "I'm calling to inform that our company has a new sale to offer you in terms of phone calls!" The woman said. "Can you please tell me where are you calling from?" She asked calmly. "I'm currently calling from Los Angeles (*Los Angeles has a larger distance between New York than Allentown*)." The woman replied. Dawn then hang up the phone. "Why did you hang up!?" Michael asked. "SHE KNOWS ME! I EXIST!" She shouted looking really happy. Michael huffed out in relief and started thinking. "SO! NOW THAT WE KNOW THE RANGE OF THE CURSE WE CAN UNVEIL THE PERSON YOU PLACED IT!" Michael said. "THAT'S RIGHT PRETTY BOY!" Dawn replied in sarcasm.

The two teenagers sat down on a bench nearby to discuss the situation. "So since the curse has only spread from Tokyo to Allentown then that means there is a purpose behind that, right?" Michael said thinking. "Yeah it's true..." Dawn said thinking as well. "Do you have any relatives that live far away from New York or past Allentown?" The red haired teenager asked. "No I don't... In fact the most distant relative I have is my aunt Mary..." The blue eyed girl said almost lost in thought. "Fucking hell... Does your family happen to have any rivals of some sort?" The yellow eyed boy asked. "Yeah kinda... I mean my father always argues with this magician from the opposing dojo that is built just a few blocks away from ours..." The black haired girl explained "But what does that have anything to do with this situation?" She continued. "Let me think about that for a sec... The curse doesn't spread more far than Allentown and the most distant relative you have lives at Allentown... Your father has a rival..." He said thinking. "Go on take your time slowpoke..." She replied. "AHAAAA!" Michael said jumping off the bench. "The person who cast the curse knows about your relatives... Which means he knows about you and your family. That means that he doesn't want your family to remember you. Since your father is a martial artist and the culprit wants him to forget about you, we can conclude that he wants to do something to you without anyone noticing. And the fact that no one remembers about you gives away his intentions. HE WANTS TO KIDNAP YOU. HE WILL UNDO THE CURSE WHEN HE'S DONE SO AND THUS HE WILL THREATEN YOUR FATHER USING YOU!" The red haired teenager said with glowing eyes. "That's... IT! THE ONE BEHIND IT IS JEFFREY SCOTT! HE WANTED MY FATHER TO SELL THE DOJO TO HIM BUT HE REFUSED! THAT'S WHY HE PLACED A CURSE ON ME SO HE COULD KIDNAPP ME! IT ALL MAKES SENSE NOW!" She shouted in excitement. "Mystery, SOLVED!" Michael replied. "But where is he gonna kidnap me?" Dawn asked. "Fair question... At the ACADEMY! That's where the curse started!" He replied once again. "But today's Thursday and due to some professor's council we didn't have any class. That means he won't be attacking the school today..." She pointed out. "Then all we have to do is wait for tomorrow and beat him up real good!" Michael continued. "Now let's head to the train station!" He continued.

"CLOSED?!" Dawn shouted as soon as she noticed the sign hanging outside the station. "Come back tomorrow..." Michael read in disappointment. "Come on, we can't get back home! What are we gonna do?!" The blue eyed girl said in despair. "I know! Since we're here in Allentown, let's have some fun! We can go back home tomorrow!" Michael said smiling as he took her hand and started running. "Where are you taking meeee?!" Dawn shouted.
