I see you, your golden locks falling on your face and you looking at a birthday cake with a big smile across your face, it's a nice Polaroid picture. The date reads 12.09 but I know that's not your birthday Cassandra. I knew you and your roommate Mal would be at work, making it the perfect time to slip inside unnoticed. The lock gave way easily under my practiced touch, granting me access to your lives, your secrets.

Inside Mal's room, the disarray was palpable. The chaos seemed unfitting for someone who claimed to be your friend. You deserved better, Cassandra. The room is what I imagine it to be when I heard your friend is a struggling model, utter mess. I see some bright lipstick lying on the cluttered vanity. It symbolized the superficiality of the connections you had forged, friendships that wouldn't stand the test of time. I picked up the lipstick, allowing my fingers to crush it against the mirror. A satisfying snap echoed through the room.

Moving on to your room. The air carried a familiar scent, one that speaks of  nostalgia. It is just how I imagined, just how you used to keep when you were little, neat and clean. Your Bed made up, your books shorted, your plants watered, taken care of. How funny it is that we store our identity in our name, in our address but in reality our habits makes us truly what we are cause even when you are living in a different state by a different name your room is just as it used to be filled with the things that you like.

You deserved to have someone who truly understood you, who remembered the past you shared. Lying down on your bed, I let my fingers trace the fabric of your life, absorbing the residue of your presence.

With a practiced motion, I removed my red wig, letting my true hair cascade around my shoulders. I gazed at myself in the mirror, seeing the reflection of someone who once meant the world to you. But I am determined to bring back the bond we once shared.

One day you will come to realize that you belong to me. Your heart, your thoughts, your very existence will revolve around me, and me alone. The outside world, with all its fleeting connections, will pale in comparison to the unbreakable tie we once had. Things will return to the way they were meant to be, and you will have no choice but to embrace the destiny that has always been yours, that always been mine.

You and me, we are inseparable.
