While going home Cassandra can only think about the event and how it will make Mal so happy.

Cassandra walked down the dark alleyway, Suddenly she heard some footsteps, feeling on edge and alert to any unusual noises. She'd been feeling like someone was following her for the past two weeks, but hadn't been able to confirm it. As she walked, she heard footsteps behind her and quickly grabbed her purse, her heart pounding in her chest. She paused for a moment, considering her options. Should she keep walking or turn back?

She remembered something Louise had told her: "Sometimes fighting back means only standing firmly in front of the danger." Taking a deep breath, Cassandra turned around and saw a shadowy figure lurking behind a wall. She moved cautiously towards the figure and discovered a person wearing a black overcoat with their back turned towards her. She could sense that this was the person who had been following her.

Cassandra silently retrieved her pepper spray from her purse and tapped the person on the shoulder. When they turned around, she was shocked to see a familiar face: "Will?" she said with disbelief.

Will was a regular customer at the hotel where Cassandra used to work as a bartender. He was this lonely person, he would be never seen with any other guest, The manager didn't like him, he was one of the undesired customer. Yet, they didn't do anything just let the poor soul have his whisky. At first, she thought he was fond of whisky, but then it became clear that he was coming to the hotel to see her. While living he would stare at her continuously, while searving him he would try to touch her hand and pretend like it was a mistake. After all this Cassandra still thought he was pretty harmless. Oneday when he came upto her and asked her if he can have some word with her Cassandra saw it as advanced to let him know that she wasn't into him and she isn't looking for relationship. But when he started talking it seemed something totally different thing than what she has anticipated. He believed that she was Jodie from his hometown, and he knows her and at some point both of them has dated. This seems pretty much unbelievable to Cassandra. She didn't want to tell him that she has lost her memory but this felt so wrong to her she didn't knew why. She thought there's no way she would date someone like Will. He's a nice person but he's not her type and apart from that how does she know if he's isn't making all these things up? He seems obsessive and desparate there's a pretty good chance that he's making all these things up. At the end She thinks about it and thinks that even if what Will is saying is true she doesn't want to do anything with him anymore. So what they dated? people break up everywhere, and all she wanted to do is move on, and for some reason she has always avoided her past, she liked to believe she was born in the hospital after the accident , that's where her new life started. So, She had tried to let him down gently, but he didn't seem to understand that she wasn't interested.
After she quit from the hotel she thought that was it, she will never meet Will again. But here she is after so many months... and this is Will for sure.

"What are you doing here, Will?" Cassandra asked, trying to mask the fear in her voice. "Why are you following me?"

"Listen, Jodie, I didn't mean to follow you," Will replied, sounding defensive.

"I'm not Jodie, how many times do I have to tell you that?" Cassandra snapped back.

"But you are Jodie, this isn't you, Jodie. Why are you pretending to be someone else?" Will said, his voice filled with confusion.

"Listen, I told you not to follow me. I don't want to know who I am, I'm having a great life. Don't ruin it for me, Will," Cassandra said firmly.

"I wasn't following you, I saw you round the corner and then started walking with you," Will protested.

"Without saying anything to me, that's called following Will. And you've been doing it for the past two weeks, I can feel it," Cassandra said, her voice shaking with anger.

"No! I've just seen you here," Will insisted.

"Don't lie, Will. How did you get my address?" Cassandra demanded.

"But I'm not following you, Jodie," Will said, sounding hurt.

"For God's sake, get some therapy, Will. I'm not Jodie, I'm Cassandra. I've never wanted bad for you, Will. You just have to move on from me," Cassandra said firmly.

"And don't follow me, or I will call the police on you next time I spot you," Cassandra warned, turning her back on Will and walking away.

After a few steps, she heard Will yelling after her: "You can't run from your past, Jodie. I know who you are. You might be done with your past, but the past isn't done with you, Jodie."

Cassandra started running at this point, her golden locks flying in the night. She just mumbled to herself: "I don't want to go back, I don't want to go back."
