Delilah.

It's been a month since I met Troy at that group meeting. Just like he said he didn't came back at the meetings. I haven't gone to one either for almost a week because of school.

"Hey, Del. Can you help me with this?" I heard Chloe as I looked in her direction.

"What is it?" I went to her as she showed me the banner we made to welcome Saint Germaine's football team. It was all ruined.

"Somebody spilled water on it." Chloe said as she looked at Meghan in disappointment.

"I'm sorry, okay! It was an accident." Meghan said as I sighed.

"We can't fix this. We have to make a new one." I said. "Meghan, go get the art supplies from Ms. Linda." Meghan nodded as she left. "And Chloe can you go and take out the prints of Saint Germaine's logo and their symbolic panther from the computer."

"On it, Cap." Chloe jokingly saluted me as she left.

"So, the captain's in all action today." I heard a familiar male voice from behind.

I turned towards the person with a smile. It was Tim. He was Flynn's best friend. We both got closer after Flynn died.

"Well, the captain gotta work." I said and he smiled. "So are you ready for today's match?" I asked and he shrugged.

"Yeah." He answered. "So will you be joining us in the after match party?"

"Nah, I don't think so. I'm already tired because of all the cheerleading practice and all the arrangements for the match. I'd rather go home and sleep." I said.

"Okay." He said. "I'm gonna go and do some practice." I nodded as he left.

"He's so into you." Chloe said from behind.

"Too bad I'm not." I answered as I took the printed pages from her hands.

"Come on, girl! He is so hot."

I shook my head slightly. "Chloe, please don't." I said in a serious tone and I think it got through her. She didn't say anything after that.

After a few moments Meghan came back with all the supplies as we started to make the banner again.

"Come on, girls." I said as I gathered all the girls around. "Remember don't lose focus or balance." I said as girls nodded.

We went into the field as we started our performance. The song started as we went with the flow of the beat. When our performance ended I tool the mic from the coach.

"I am Delilah Tyson, the captain of Eastville High cheerleading team. And I'd like to welcome our guests from Saint Germaine High." I addressed the whole crowd sitting there cheering. "Now a few words from our principal Mr. Maxwell." I said as I got off the stage and gave the mic back to the coach.

"Well done." The coach said as I nodded at him and went to my team.

We all stood on the side of the ground as we listened to the boring speech of Mr. Gregory. This man has been repeating the same speech for years. Finally the speech ended as he welcome the both teams to come to the ground. First Eastville's Lions passed by us. Tim smiled at me as I mouthed him best of luck. Then Saint Germaine's Panthers passed by us. Troy waved at me as he passed by me and I waved back at him. Chloe who was standing next to me elbowed me and I looked at her. She gave me a knowing smile.

"It's not like that." I said.

"I didn't say anything." She shrugged. I rolled my eyes at her as I laughed.

Both teams stood in the ground as we all sung the national anthem. Lions won the toss and the match started.

The match went on very challenging as none of the sides were ready to give each other a chance to win. We kept on cheering our team. Finally the first half ended with a score of 0-0. The both teams took a break. I went to Tim who was talking to one of his teammates.

"The captain's all in the action today." I said and he laughed.

"The captain's gotta work." He replied.

"You're doing great." I said.

"I know. But Maxwell's not going easy on us." He said gesturing towards Troy who was talking to his teammates.

"Does he ever?" I said as I looked at Troy. He send a smile my way. I quickly turned my attention to Tim.

The match started once again. And in the first five minutes Troy scored a goal. The whole crowd went crazy as he scored a top corner. Troy celebrated with his teammates as he bowed down towards the crowd. Then he turned towards my cheerleading team as he saluted. I think it was pointed towards me.

The match went on again. And finally the last whistle went off with a score of 0-1. They kicked our ass in our home yet again.

Tim walked upto me with a disappointed look.

"You did your best." I said and he gave me a sad smile.

"Yeah." He said. "I know you said that you won't come to the after party but if you change your mind. It's at my place." He said and I nodded.

The crowd started to leave as we started to take off all the banners. And collect all of our stuff. As I was struggling to take off one of the banners I heard a voice behind me.

"Mind if I help you." I turned my head towards the voice and saw Troy standing there.

"You didn't go to the party?" I asked and he shrugged.

"I wasn't in a mood." He said. "Now can I help you?" He said and I smiled.

"Yeah." I said as I got off the ladder. Troy climbed up and easily took off the banner with his one hand.

He got off as he handed me the banner.

"You know I think you should go to the party." I said and he looked at me in confusion.

"Why?" He asked.

"You seemed pretty stressed during the match. It might help you release some stress." I said.

"Are you going to the party?" He asked.

"No." I answered.

"Then why are you forcing me to go?" He asked.

"I'm not forcing. I'm just saying that you should go. It'll be fun."

"Alright, I'll go. If you come with me." He said with a little challenge in his voice.

"Fine. I'll go." I said as put the banner down in the ground.

"Fine then let's go." He said with a smirk on his face.
