Troy.

It hasn't snowed in a while. But it's still freezing cold outside. No wonder they call this town Frostdale. I stood next to my car as I waited. Just as the clock hit five. The door of the building opened as she walked out.

She looked flawless as ever. Just like a doll. She was wearing a dark beanie cap which made her blonde hair, coming out of it, more prominent. She had a white jacket and blue jeans on. She waved at me as she made her way towards me.

"So you're ready?" She said and I smiled.

"Yup." I answered.

"Maxwell, you better make my time worth it." She said.

"Don't worry. I have great places in my mind." I said as I opened the door of my SUV for her. She got in as I made my way towards the driver's seat.

Delilah and have been texting and calling each other since I last went to Eastville. We made plans to hang out. Since last time we hung out in her town. This time it's my turn. I don't have a secret place to hang out at but I think we'll have fun.

We drove for about twenty minutes when we reached our destination.

"A bowling court?" She said as we entered.

"This is the only fun place in this town." I said.

"Let's go for a round. The loser has to pay for the game." She said.

"Fine get ready to lose." I said as I went to the counter.

• • •

"You're just good at everything. Aren't you?" She said as we walked out of the bowling court.

I shrugged. "Not everything." I said as I unlocked my car.

"That's a lie." She said

"I suck at swimming." I said as I opened the door of my car. She got inside. I made my way towards the driver's seat as I got in.

Just then my phone beeped. I unlocked the screen of my phone to check whatever notification it was.

"I should probably get home now." She said putting on her seatbelt.

"I think you shouldn't." I said as I showed her the screen. There was a news about a snow blizzard.

"Most of the times these news are wrong." She said giving me my phone back.

"Sometimes." I corrected her as I locked my phone. "I don't think you'll find any busses and I can't drive you either."

"So what should I do?" She asked.

"You can stay at a hotel or at my place." I suggested.

"At your place?"

"I know. I know. We have known each other for only a few weeks. But if you have anywhere else to stay I'll drop you off there."

She sighed. "Not really. I don't even have that much money." She paused for a moment to think. "Fine, I'll stay at your place."

"My mom's also not home. So it's good." I said and she scowled.

"How's that good?" She asked.

"Oh, I didn't mean it that way." I let out a small chuckle. "I'd rather not let my friends meet my mom."

"Why?" She asked.

"Let's just get home for now." I said trying to avoid to answer her.

I think she understood that I didn't want to talk about it because she didn't press me.

My house was only five minutes away. The weather was getting bad with every minute. I parked my car in the drive way.

"Have you told your parents where you're staying tonight?" I asked as I took out the key from my car.

"I've texted my sister. I'll just get scolded by my parents when I get back home." She said as we got out.

She examined my house for a moment from the outside.

"What?" I asked.

"I didn't know you came from a rich family." She said and I let out laugh.

"Didn't you guess it by my car?" I asked.

She mused for a moment. "Huh… I never really thought about that." She said.

"You're such a dummy." I said as I walked towards the door. I unlocked the door.

"We own a huge franchise of restaurants all around US." I said as we entered.

"Do you have a restaurant here in Frostdale?" She asked.

"Yeah." I answered.

"Then why didn't you take me there?" She asked.

"My mom would probably be there with her boyfriend. I'd rather not run into her." I said.

"Oh." She responded as we walked into the living room.

We both took off our jackets as we put them on the couch beside us as we sat down.

"Do you want something to eat?" I asked.

"Do you have something to eat?" She asked.

"I don't know. Come on let's check the fridge." I said as I stood up and walked into the kitchen. She followed me inside.

She went on and sat down on the island as I walked towards the fridge to find something to eat.

"If you don't mind can I ask you a question?" She said.

She's going to ask about my mom. Isn't she?

"Yeah, sure." I said as I looked through the fridge.

"Are you gay?" She asked and I turned to her in surprise.

"Where did that come from?" I asked.

"I don't know I heard girls talking in school that you're gay."

"And how the hell did they end up with that conclusion?" I asked as I closed the fridge's door.

"They said that you kinda give a gay-ish vibe and you also don't date girls." She replied.

"That's not true. I do date girls. I've just never been in a real relationship."

"Why not?" She asked.

"Well, girls mostly come after me because they think that I belong to a rich family so I would have a huge bank balance. But I don't. You know rich kids also get limited pocket money. And they mostly expect me to buy expensive stuff for them all the time. They don't want a boyfriend they just want nice gifts." I said and she laughed.

"You'll find your girl." She said and I smiled.

"I know I will." I said as I opened the fridge again. "We have frozen pizza."

"I can work with that." She said.

"Good." I said as I took the box out and put it in the microwave oven. I set the time and started the oven. "Wanna watch a movie?"

"Sure." She replied.

"The internet must be bad right now. Why don't you go and pick up a DVD from the shelf? It's the left one next to the TV."

"Okay." She said as she got off the island and went outside.

I opened the cabinet and took out a packet of microwave popcorn. I also found a packet of gummy bears. I looked in the fridge as I took out two bottles of lemon malt. I put the gummy bears in a bowl.

"Hey how about Dumb and the Dumber?" Delilah asked as she walked into the kitchen with a DVD in her hand.

"Yeah, it's good." I said.

"Alright, I'll set it up."

"Do you even know how to use a DVD player?" I asked.

"Of course I do. My dad has one back at home. We use it to watch my parent's wedding or any old movie that we can't find online. But mostly my parent's wedding."

"Why do you watch your parent's wedding?"

"My mom forces us to." She said before walking out of the kitchen.

Just then the oven beeped as I took out the pizza. I placed the popcorn bag in it and set the timer.

I took all the other stuff and went into the living room. I put it on the table.

"I love lemon malt." Delilah said as I opened the bottle and handed it to her. "Flynn always used to say that it tastes disgusting. And I'll always tell him to shut up."

"My dad used to tell me that. He would always ask "Son, why do you like this?" And I would always tell him I just do."

She laughed a little with me as I sat down beside her.

"You know this movie." I pointed at the screen. "It was mine and dad's favourite. I've watched it so many times with him. I haven't really thought about watching it since he left."

"We can watch another one. If you-"

"No, I wanna watch this one." I said.

It's true. I really do want to watch it. Every weekend I would watch soccer with my dad. When there wasn't a match. We would watch this movie. It's weekend and I think I should live upto to the tradition. I looked at my dad's picture which was hanging on the wall.

Just then the oven beeped.

"Popcorn's ready." I said as I went into the kitchen. I carefully took the bag out and opened it. I took out another bowl as I put popcorn into it.

"Let's start the movie." I said as I came back and sat down with her.

We spent the next two hours laughing at Lloyd and Harry's stupidity. It was a nice movie and we had great time watching it. We both were so hungry that we didn't even realized when all of our food ended. When the movie ended I turned off the DVD player and the TV.

"It was so good. Now I know why you and your dad loved it so much." She said and I smiled.

"Yeah, we both loved watching comedy. Doesn't matter if it's a TV show or a movie. It just has to fall in the category of comedy or humour."

"It seems like you had a really great relationship with your dad." She said.

"Yeah, I did. He wasn't only my dad. He was also my best friend. Everytime I would fuck something up or do something bad. He would be the first person to know. He always had my back." I said  as I looked at his picture.

"He sounds like a great dad."

"Yeah he was. I just wish he stayed a little longer with me." I sighed as I looked down at my feet. Her hand reached out to mine as she intertwined her fingers into mine. I looked up at her.

"It's gonna be alright." She said softly and I smiled at her.

"Everyone keeps saying that." I said as I looked away from her.

"Hey." She said as I turned to look at her. And before I knew it she locked her lips with mine.

At first I was a little surprised. It just took me a few seconds before I started to kiss her back. She pulled away from me as she sat up in my lap with both of her legs on each side of mine as she locked her lips with mine again. She had her hands in my hair as I was holding her by her waist pulling her more and more in. I slipped both of my hands into her shirt as she softly bit on my lower lip. Her skin felt warm under my cold hands as I moved a little further and unhooked her bra. She smiled as she pulled away from me. I started to kiss on her neck as I left a trail of kisses down to her colar bone.

"Stop.. stop." She said in between her heavy breaths. I stopped and looked at her. She looked down at me with her hands resting on my shoulder.

"What?" I asked.

"I just.. I needed to make sure that… what we're doing it.. means nothing right?" She asked.

I was a little taken aback but what the hell was I expecting?

"Yeah. Yeah. It means nothing." I said.

"Good." She said as she touched my face with one hand and started to kissing me again. We stayed there like that for a few moments as I pulled her in more and more. Honestly, I could just hold her like this forever.

After a few moments later she pulled away again.

"You sure. You're okay with this?" She asked.

"Yeah. I'm okay." I answered and she smiled as I locked her lips with mine again. This time it wasn't just soft kissing. I put my toungue into her mouth as she played along with me. Her hands were moving softly from my hair to my neck.

She softly moaned as she pulled away again.

"What now?" I asked.

"Do you have a condom?" She asked holding my face into both of her hands.

"Yeah, it's upstairs in my room."

"Okay, then let's go upstairs." She said as she got off me.

I stood up as I pulled her back into my arms. I locked my lips with her again. I picked her up so she could be face to face with me. She wrapped her arms around my neck and her legs around my waist as she kissed me. She pulled back.

"What the hell are you doing?" She asked with a smile.

"Taking you upstairs." I said as I held her by her thighs.

She giggled a little as she kissed me again. "You're a dummy." She said.

"I know." I replied as I kissed on her neck.

I am a dummy. That night I wanted say that I was not okay with all this. That it all meant something to me but I couldn't. She was there in front of me and I just wanted to hold her closer to me so bad that I just went with it. Shouldn't have done that.
