Delilah.

"Del." I opened my eyes as the bright light stung. I used my hand to cast a shadow on my eyes.

"Del." I sat up with the support of my hands. I felt slightly wet mud under my hands. I frowned as I looked around me. I was lying in some kind of field with grass and wet met.

"Hey, Del!" I looked upto the person calling out to me and there he was standing a few steps away from me in a white dressed shirt and white pair pants looking as beautiful and bright as I remembered him. Tears dwelled up in eyes.

"Flynn?" My voice broke a little as I looked at him with a smile on his face.

"Hey." His tone softened a little as he walked towards. He sat down infront of me. "What's up with the tears?" He said as he put one tear on his index finger and blew it away.

A smile crept on my face as tears kept on coming from my eyes. He always used to do it when I'd be crying.

"Come on, love, cheer up. There's nothing to be sad about." He said and more tears started forming in my eyes as a memory of him saying to me came back to me.

"Delilah Tyson, what is it? You're not happy to see me?" He asked as he sat with his legs crossed infront of me.

"I love you." I said as more tears cracked through my eyes. "I love you so much."

"I know." He replied with a smile as he tilted his head to side a little. "Now. What's up with you? When you visited me with Troy you were crying then and now I'm here to visit you you're crying again."

"Visit?" I said as I looked around. The field was wide and seemed to be never ending. "Where are we?" I asked and he shrugged.

"We're somewhere but together." He said as he gave me one of his flirtatious smile.

"No, Flynn- what happened? Where are we?" I asked and he leaned back a little.

"Who cares, Del?" He stood up. "Come on, I have something to show you." He held his hand towards me. I looked up at him and he just gestured for me to hold his hand.

I reached out a I held his hand and stood up. He lead me towards a small bench near a tree. He sat down there and sat beside him.

"It feels nice. Doesn't it?" He asked.

"Yeah."

It was calm and peaceful. It was quiet but there was something about that quietness. Something beautiful, happy and loving. I don't know what it was but I felt happy staying there.

"But you can't stay here." Flynn sighed as I looked at him.

"What do you mean?" I asked and he smiled.

"I don't know. I mean you can stay if you want but I know you won't." He replied. I turned to him waiting for him to say something more.

"Look." He pointed straight and I saw another huge tree on the other side of bridge. I saw a figure standing there with his back against the tree trunk.

"Who-"

"Someone you left behind." He cut me off.

It was Troy. I couldn't see his face clearly but I somehow knew it was him. I think he was crying. Maybe. Because it was pretty hard to see from this far.

"So, Del, would you rather stay here or go back there?" He asked.

"What are you talking about?" I asked.

"You're so lucky, Del. You're given a choice. Either stay or go back." He let out a chuckle. "If you stay. You'll be here with me in this peaceful place. If you go back.." he paused for a moment. "Well, you'll go back to him." He gestured towards Troy.

"I have to choose in between you and him?" I asked.

He gave me a smile again. "No.." He held my hand. "You just have to go with your heart."

"My heart's confused." I said and he chuckled this time.

"It's not. You know exactly what you want." He said as I looked down at my hands. I sighed.

"So?" He asked.

"You know I love you. Right?" I asked and he nodded.

"I know."

"He needs me." I said and he nodded.

"I know but you also love him." He said and I smiled feeling a little guilty. "It's okay, Del. I'm a ghost. You can't be in love with a freaking ghost for the rest of your life. What is it a stupid paranormal forbidden love story?" He said and we both laughed.

"So now do you love him or not? I want you to say it." He said and I sighed. "Come on accept it."

"I do." I said and he let out a chuckle.

"See it wasn't that hard now was it?" He asked and I smiled.

"No." I replied in a low voice.

"Del, you should just do things when you're given the opportunity. Never hold yourself back. Just do those things that you want. Say those things you feel. Or you'll end up feeling guilty about the choices you never made. Just like what happened in our case." He said with a sad smile. There was silence for a few minutes.

"I don't have a choice do I?" I asked and he smiled again at me.

"No. I just wanted you to accept what you felt."

"And you got me to do just that." I smiled and he nodded.

"Yup. I'd love it if you were to stay with me but your place is not here yet, Del. You have to go back. You still have a lot of wonderful things to do." He looked at me with a shine in his eyes.

He was happy more than ever I've seen him. And that made me even more happy.

"I love you." I said and he chuckled this time.

"You've been saying that since you got here." He said as he moved closer to me. His face was just a few inches away when he stopped. "I love you too. But it's time now. Wake up."

I opened up my eyes as I looked at the blank ceiling. I felt a mask covering my face. Needles pierced in my body. I felt an ache down my throat like something was going down. But the one thing I felt the most right at that moment were hands holding my right hand near to a face and tears falling on it. I couldn't turn to see who it was because my whole body felt stiff but I recognized his voice. Crying in pain. Listening to him cry tears started falling out of my eyes too. I somehow managed to move my fingers to get his attention and I was successful in doing so too.

"Lilah?" His voice broke a little as he looked at my face. He stopped breathing for a moment as I felt his hands shaking a bit. "We.. we need a doctor here!" He yelled with all the force but he seemed so much overwhelmed at the moment that his voice couldn't go outside the room. He stood up as he slightly went his hand through my hair. "It's okay. I'll go get a doctor." He said as he tried to let go of my hand but I tried to grab it as firmly as I could at the moment. He stopped and called out to the nurse again. This time he was successful. I tried to say something but the tube in my throat wasn't allowing the voice to come out.

He sat down on the floor next to my bed so he'll be face to face with me. "Don't say a word." He moved his hand again through my hair comforting me. "You'll only hurt yourself." He softly kissed my hand which he was still holding. "I'm not going anywhere."

And just those words were enough to give me comfort from all the pain my body was feeling.
