The candle burns low, my heart is sore,
There's a burden I've always bore.
To never have I ever told you,
Always in my arms I wanted to hold you.
Your memories now haunt me,
And these feelings taunt me.
The rain, it always falls and the nightmares are my guests,
The flame never fades, and the soul never rests.
How come this happen to us?
In destiny, I don't trust.
Your smiling face is my only solace,
Not seeing you makes my soul clueless.
It's too much to harbour these feelings any longer
Will these dark nights fade away any sooner?
I don't see hope for us
Is there any future for us?
I'll let you go but keep you in my heart,
And I'll always be yours even after we part.

And as the night creeps,
They become needy.
Oh they'll sweet talk you;
And you'll stand there and frown.
Being the good person,
You will say yes.
They know it, that you will never say no when asked nicely.
Then gradually there temperament will change.
They'll use venomous words to break your soul.
You'll be confused asking why this is happening to you?
Oh they'll enjoy every moment of it.
They suck everything of you .
And when nothing is left of you,
They move on to their next prey.

Unlike me.
I feel dirty and uncomfortable in my own body for the first time in my life.
I feel exploited, used and ugly for the first time in my life.
The tears streams down my eyes , I don't want them.
But they are free, unlike me.
And I see my tattered and broken wings as I lay down curled up
Unable to breath
But every breath is free, unlike me.
I have watched my jolly self morphed into a shallow shell.
A free spirit being caged and suffocated in the name of protection.

Maybe you walked out of your own depression..
You defeated all of your demons ..
Maybe you won ...
But don't be a reason for someone else's depression..
For their sufferings...

Think for a moment.
Making fun of people who are in depression and suffering through similar cases and calling cowards to those who commit suicide
is not okay.
Also committing suicide is also not a solution too.
But saying they were cowards and ending the discussion over such serious topic is not going to help.
We have to come forward and for once we really need to think, we need to put ourselves in their shoes and understand what they were going through.
Yeah maybe they are not your family. And you don't know them. They are just strangers to you. Strangers who were battling alone a war you never saw.
But they were or are a member of this society of which
you, me and we are also part of. And it's all of ours responsibility to understand where as a society we went wrong.
We need to acknowledge, each of our's mistakes and work on them. We need to rebuild it, so that everyone can live.

I want to apologise ;
I'm sorry that I never asked how you were doing?
I didn't realised for once,
that behind your infectiously heart warming smile,
You could be hurting.
You could be needing just someone to ask how are you?
In this madness of proving who is the biggest fan of yours.
We forgot it was never meant to be a mad race
But a collection of people who are always there to appreciate you and your work.
And motivate you to push through your hard times
But I failed you as a fan.
And I'm guilty of my ignorance.
