They say you fill your empty soul by giving the love that you got, I say I did, but it's empty still, How can that be? I'd given all the love I had, And in return had got none, What I got was sad tears and just some silly words, I think about that all the time; I just can't help it, My empty soul remains empty, but his overflows with love, With the promising love that I'd given him; But he gives that love to someone else, And my soul remains empty still...
