A not so perfect life!
I Would Be Damned!
The battle of smirk.
The battle of smirk.
Keeping eye contact with me, he strided towards the counter, stopping right infront of me. The only barrier preventing him  from grabbing me by the neck was the counter. Oh boy!have i ever been this wrong.
"APOLOGISE"! He commanded stressing on every single letter. Before glaring at him dead in the eye, I checked my phone to see nothing particularly interesting. I am never the one to take orders from others, especially if that person happens to be an egoistical stranger.
"Do i know y-" before i could finish, he butted in, "you don't need to". He maybe smirking, but, his eyes demanding dominance.
I chuckled, lowly muttering "The nerve of this son of a bitch". A playful smirk danced on my lips as i confronted him. "Then i see no reason why i should  apologize". "If we're done here why don't you move. There are customers who actually come here for a valid reason" I told him with a grin full of victory. His gaze unwavering, he took one more step closer. Though i was behind the counter, could feel the tension that was making everyone uncomfortable, except me. This is nothing new to me. I held my ground as confidence boosted within.
I didn't see it coming. Neither did the people around us. Gasps were heard from all around me as his rough hands gripped me by the neck, making it hard to breathe. Knowing fully well that it would leave a bruise, i faced him and this time he was smirking. There was no mercy whatsoever evident in his eyes. Thats when i realised, the tables have turned and this time I'm playing his game. But what he didn't know was, when it come to games, I was the master.
"APOLOGIZE" he repeated himself, this time with more force. His nails digging into my skin, the pain was becoming unbearable each minute passing by. But I wasn't ready to let him know that he had the upper hand. "Make me". The words left my mouth before i could stop myself. Looks like I just dared the devil to go rampage on me.
As the alarm on my phone went off i realised it was my queue to leave the diner for the night. He was taken aback by my sudden movement to slap his hand away. Without wasting a second I went to the changing room to get ready to head home. I came out to face a fuming, grey eyed boy whom i've come to despise from the bottom of my heart. Before he could speak up, I spoke for him. "Apologize?" I asked him in a questioning manner, keeping a straight face. Closing the distance between us, I lifted myself on my toes, reaching for his ears I whispered, "your command was never my wish". For the last time I smirked against his ears. From my rear view I saw his hands forming into a fist. With a victorious smirk I walked towards the door, nodding in Lana's direction. I turned back to see his expression, which if I interpreted correctly, read 'This isn't over bitch' . I walked out of the diner feeling the cold air against me. 'I dont remember the last time i had this much fun' I thought smiling to myself.
