I Would Be Damned!
The atmosphere was polluted by the creaking noise made by the old, rusted staircase as i rushed through it, missing some steps in the process. At the last two stairs i jumped, starting to run across the street, like a mad dog. What can i say, life demands the worst in me at times.

'WHAT THE FUCK MAN! DO YOU HAVE YOUR EYES IN YOUR ASS OR WHAT!' I shouted attracting the attention of people passing by. Without sparing a second glance at the person who nearly ran over me with their motor bike, I quickened my steps towards my destination, rolling my eyes internally. But hey he was hot! And there's no denying that.

Trying to slow my breath, i pushed open the door of diner i work at. This place never fails to fascinate me, no matter how many times I've seen it, with its breathtakingly beautiful interior design and the warm atmosphere. This is the one place, one job, i can't leave no matter how much I'm on the roll, never settling down in one place for long.

"Time you show up for work, huh" my co-worker Lana greeted me with a wink. She was the closest thing I've ever had to a friend. "Be right back" i said smiling, heading towards the changing room.

I took the counter, while Lana moved around serving. She was a beautiful blonde girl with a bob cut. A sweet girl anyone could fall for. We changed our on-work duties on our own basis. When she got tired of serving she would take over the counter and it would be my turn to serve.

The diner got hectic with flooding people, as soon as the sun finished on its duties switching with the moon. As if it were to tease the moon, the sun took pride in highlighting the sky with its golden rays before it set.

"Mae! W-who is the hotty" stuttering, Lana whispered to my ear, walking away, letting me take over the counter. I looked at the new group of customers we have. My brain started wacking, trying to remember those grey eyes boring into mine, with rage and that smirk devilishly playing on his lips. 'Woah woah! Hold it there bitches. Is it who i think it is? ' my brain started. 'Well, i would be damned if it wasn't' shot back, my heart. I loured back into his eyes, making sure no mercy was evident in it.
