Robert and his fellows went out of the house, Robert held the door knob and was closing the door when something popped in his mind" What if I fix the floorboards of the attic now instead of tomorrow, I'll be able to do another work somewhere else" he murmured to himself, "Mr. Robert is there any problem?" Carter asked concerned. "Listen Carter tell the others to go. I'll be staying" answered Robert, "But sir it's already pretty late" Carter added intimidated by his quick decision. "Listen Carter it is kind of important to do this work right now and plus I'll have time to do work somewhere else tomorrow"
" Sir it's not safe that you know as well, it is Loyalton and there is no house to be seen for miles and miles. Besides the house itself gives me the creeps"
"Carter I'll be alright and you are talking like a small kid who is frightened of who knows what the imaginary stuff that the elders make just to tuck there kids in bed preventing them to stay late at night"
"Sir the supernatural stuff is real and my uncle himself works for curing all kinds of paranormal activities. And I myself went once with him to a house where an antity existed. Sure is a scary job"
"Seriously you believe in all those made up things for children?"chuckled Robert
"Yes sir but they are not made up stiff they are real"
"Oh you should go it's getting late" Robert said dropping the previous topic
"Yes sir. You sure you're gonna be ok"
"Yeah, yeah now go or otherwise they'll leave without you"
Carter moved forward towards the Pick Up and Robert went inside the house. The situation in the attic was far more worse than he had expected, the floorboards were all broken, their was the disgusting smell of something rotten and what was more that there was only one small attic window which was also stuck. He switched his mobile torch inorder to look for a light switch and luckly just beside the door was the switch. He turned it on and to his surprise bulb lightened on the ceiling of the attic. He examined the bulb light, it was very old and it was definately astonishing and intimidating." I wonder how come a 100 year old bulb work so well" Robert whispered and as soon as he said that the light went off." What on Earth" exclaimed Robert frightened. He again turned his mobile torch,he went near the light switch and turned it on and off when the bulb just exploded. Robert intimidated dropped his mobile phone, he bended down to pick his phone when the broken piece of the bulb peirced inside his skin ,"Oww" he cried in pain. He still tried to find his phone and to his luck he found his phone. He turned his phone and switched his torch and put it on the table he examined his hand, it was bleeding badly he held the broken glass and pulled it out" Ouch" he exclaimed. He stood up to get his phone when he saw a sign on a white cloth it seemed as if a huge thing lay underneath it on which was written" Dangerous💀Do not touch". He became curious to know what's underneath,he moved forward towards it and he was just a few inches away from moving away that cloth when a hand tapped on his shoulder. He jumped in fright "You scared me to death" Robert answered indecesively. "Sorry Sir I thought it might be prudent to just stay here" Carter added "And by the way sir what were you trying to do with that thing. You can read it says Dangerous"
"Ahh nothing"
Carter looked at Robert's hand" Sir we must get first aid your hand is bleeding badly"
"Yeah let's go". Carter packed the tools and they both strood off fron the attic.
