FATEFUL DAY
BLVVDY KILLER
Skylar was awakened by a rustling sound. It was Scarlett zipping up her backpack. She got up early because she had to go to a psychologist.
-Good morning Skylar. ;-answered Scarlett affably.
-Good, why did you get up so early?
                  -To be honest, don't know...
Skylar stood up and, yawning and stretching, put on her school seifuku and stockings and shoes. After she went to the kitchen and after breakfast, she and her sister went to school, or rather to the psychologist's office.
Skylar knocked on the door and opened it. She looked back to Scarlett and she encouraged her sister:
-I'll wait for you outside.  ; -he smiled, tilting her head to the side.
This calmed Skylar a little and she entered the office. A woman about 40 years old was sitting at the table. She was well-groomed and her hair was long and healthy, so this, in addition to cosmetics, compensated for her age. She also wore glasses.
-Sit down, Skylar. ;-she pointed to a chair.
Skylar obediently sat down and with her eyes closed, put all her thoughts on the shelves and heard the voice of a psychologist.
-Skylar, how are you feeling? Is something oppressing you?
                   -No, I'm fine.
The psychologist smiled and leaned back in his chair.
-Your dad doesn't pay enough attention to you, but you found a replacement for him. I'm right?
-You're right. My father devotes little time to me, but I have a sister and therefore I feel good with her.
Skylar looked down and remembered Scarlett's face. It had only been a couple of minutes, but she was already missed her.
At the time, Scarlett was outside waiting for Skylar. Suddenly a guy came up to her. Dressed in a school uniform, cold white hair.
-Hey, hi. Are you all right? You just froze in place.
                   Scarlett really froze in place.
                   -I'm okay, but what?
-Nothing, let's go to the cafe. I liked you and I would like to get to know you better.
"Wow. If that's true, then why not give it a try? Although Skylar will worry about where I am..."
                   -So what do you say?
-I'm waiting for my sister, she's in the psychologist's office. Sorry, I can not.
-Then let's go after the first lesson at recess?
                   -Okay.
-By the way, my name is Jack. Fine, bye.
He walked to the side, but Scarlett noticed one peculiarity in him. On his trousers he wore a keychain with a small dagger on it. When he left, he turned it over in his hands. She imagined a conversation with him in a cafe... Her thoughts interrupted by Skylar.
-So, let's go to class. ;-Skylar turned to her sister.
                  -Yes, let's go.
They walked to the classroom door and Scarlett turned the door handle.
'Why is the class open? Our class has its first lesson... There is someone there...'
Scarlett opened the door and saw a cruel picture. The walls of the classroom were smeared with dark blood, and on the floor there was a burgundy, in places scarlet puddle. Near the board lay a corpse with numerous stab wounds. It was Scarlett and Skylar's classmate. Dressed in the same seifuku, but punctured by numerous knife holes. Her neck was curled up and her face was staring at the wall. Scarlett was numb and fell on her tailbone from shock. Skylar grabbed her and hugged her. Scarlett hid her face in her sister's chest in horror. Skylar took the phone and called 911 and reported the situation. Putting the phone in her pocket, she felt Scarlett shiver. She took her head in her hand and pressed it closer to her. They walked away from the crime scene and sat on the windowsill. Scarlett was still shaking while lying on her sister's lap as the older sister stroked Scarlett's head. The younger sister began to sob and sat down, leaning against the wall. Putting her hand to her face, holding back tears, she said:
-Skylar, this is awful... Who could have done that to her?
-I don't know, Scarlett. And it's really awful...
-I need to testify, I'm a witness, right?
-You don't have to, if you want, you can still stay here.
-Just one thought that someone at school could have done this makes me jittery... Okay, let's go. If I don’t testify, then the police are unlikely to find at least one clue. I have to go...
Scarlett stood up, but Skylar grabbed her wrist. Scarlett was surprised, but Skylar said:
-Do not put the interests of others above your own. I see that you are almost broken from what you saw and I can't watch how you will suffer while giving testimony. Please don't force yourself...
Scarlett turned to her sister and walked over to her. Taking her by the side, she pressed her against the window and kissed her on the lips, as a sign that everything is in order. Skylar's heart quickened and melted slowly. Breaking away from the sweet kiss, Skylar said:
-Okay, only I will be next to you, holding your hand...
Scarlett stepped aside to give her sister space. Skylar grabbed her sister's hand tightly. They approached the class, near which many people from the police were already standing. They were wearing blue uniforms. There were also forensics inside the classroom who took pictures and collected evidence. One of them was holding a 'Seratec', express test. He put a drop of blood and a drop of distilled water into it. After waiting a few seconds, he saw two stripes. It was human blood. The forensic scientist seemed to be paralyzed. All the blood on the walls was of a little seventh grader. He approached, apparently, the director of the FBI and said:
-Sir, all the blood on the walls belongs to a teenage girl...
                    The director froze.
-It's a serial murder of a Bloody Killer. You remember a few more murders at the other school, right? There, too, the whole class was covered in blood. Finish your reports tonight and put them on my table.
                     -Right.
Scarlett heard all this and was horrified. All the blood on the walls belonged to a little fragile girl? Who could have done this? Suddenly she remembered that she had promised Jack to go to a cafe. It was in the school, so it wasn't that far to go. But Skylar...
Scarlett: Sky, I became friends with a boy and he invited me to hang out in a school cafe. Do you mind if I go?
'School cafe? Date? After everything she saw, would she just go on a date? Okay... Perhaps she wants to move away from everything she saw and it will benefit her.' ;-thought Skylar.
-Okay, I don't mind. You need to recover from what you saw, so I'm all for it.
-Thank you! ;-Scarlett smiled hugged her sister, and she, in turn, responded to the hug.
                    -Okay, I'll go.
Scarlett walked briskly to the cafe and saw Jack with white cold hair. She went up to him and began a conversation:
-Did you want to meet me?
-Yes very. ;-Jack answered with a malicious smile.
-I heard what happened in your class. It's horrible. So much blood... Sorry for your classmate. She was still young...
-I wanted to distract myself from what I saw. You wanted to be friends with me for what?
-Why is it so harsh and rude? I didn't make friends with you for profit. I wanted to find similar interests with you, to find out how you feel.
-I'm fine. So what are you fond of?
-I like to draw. Sometimes I can even paint right on the wall. It's fascinating and then all boundaries are erased and only freedom is felt... Oh, yes, you want something? Tea? Hot chocolate?
-I have never tasted hot chocolate.
                   Jack's eyes widened.
-You haven't ever tasted hot chocolate? ;-repeated the question Jack.
-Yes, never. I would like to try.
-Yes, of course. ;-Jack got up and went to the checkout. A few minutes later he returned to the table. He served Scarlett a cup of hot chocolate, and he bought himself hot coffee.
Scarlett: What kind of family do you have?
Jack took a long sip and set the mug on the table.
-My parents died. Now I live with my aunt.
-Oh, I'm sorry. Didn't know about it.
                    -Nothing, everything is fine.
In fact, his aunt was also dead, as were his parents. His father often beat his mother and Jack saw it all. To avoid this, he painted in his room. Suddenly one evening, when Jack was painting alone in his room, his father and mother made another scandal in the kitchen. The father earned little and the mother wanted her husband to find a job that was better paid. Mother was snapping at her husband because she was mercantile. That fateful evening, the wife pushed her husband away so that he fell with his head on the corner of the table and then did not get up. The blow damaged part of the brain, causing difficulty in blood circulation. The mother, realizing what she had done, found no other way out but to take a knife from the table and cut her wrist. She died only in the morning, having made a bloody puddle. Jack opened the door and saw his father lying on the floor and his mother cutting her veins. He fainted. Then he woke up in his aunt's house, but what he saw changed his mental system for the rest of his life.
At the time, the classroom crime examination was in full swing. The forensic scientist who took the blood from the class was Derek. Analysis confirmed that the blood belonged to the murdered schoolgirl. Then he wrote a report on the examination, which the FBI director told him to put on the table. He was at the headquarters of the FBI. He put the reports on the director's desk. The day was drawing to a close and he drove home from his workplace and went to bed.
A few hours earlier, Scarlett and Jack were sitting in a cafe. Having learned something new about each other, they said goodbye. Scarlett went to Skylar, who was doing her homework at the time.
Skylar: We're being transferred to another class. The FBI is still investigating. That bloodbath is the only clue and sign of the killer. There are no details that would somehow create his portrait. He has been chased for the second year in several states, but they still cannot find a unique lead.
Scarlett: Are you mad at me?
Skylar: Why is that? I'm fine. I've already done my homework. It's time to sleep soon, so I go to bed.
Skylar put on a pink nightie and lay on her side. Scarlett also fell asleep, wearing a blue nightie, but one thing prevented her from closing her eyelids. These are her sister's feelings and they seem to be negative.
"Okay... Everything will be fine." ;-she said, taking off Neko ears, putting them on the bedside table.
