Tu sais ce matin je pensais encore à tes mains Assez longues pour cacher mon coeur comme L'éclipse d'un soleil seul et d'une lune chaude À des centaines de kilomètres je les sens Réminiscentes sur le haut de mon front Leur fantôme remue légèrement Et ta tête dans ma nuque je ne peux te voir Mais je devine ton sourire très long et fin Qui ferait tomber Charon de son misérable radeau Tu le tournerais en dérision en quelques mots De minuit à quatre heures tu tournerais la réalité Si tant est qu'elle existe encore autour de toi Je crois que tu l'as balayée de tes grands cils Comme une poussière d'étoile puisqu'on en vient On vient de la même étoile je pense

I saw a dream, and there were you, And there was coldness in your eyes. I wonder what a kind of true Made you become as cold as ice. And later I looked back to get a sense This empty glance was hellish call of past. It used to be a high and strong defense Against the world, the pain and me at last. You looked at me, and peering in your soul, I felt so lonely, as something vital died. And that is what I fear most of all - That nothing gentle will remain inside. Inside of you. Inside of me as well. And nothing will be said to farewell.
