Chapter 7
The next day
Jeffrey said "Robert..... Jessica's parents are now living in New Jersey."
Robert said "Okay and what about the meeting with Lauren?"
Jeffrey replied "She told us to meet her today at 4:00 pm near the New Lovers Park."
Robert thanked Jeffrey.
Jeffrey asked "What are you going to do with Jessica's parents?"
Robert replied "When we'll go to New Jersey you will get your answer."
Time 4:00pm
Robert, Louis, James and Jeffrey came to the New Lovers Park to meet Dr. Lauren.
Robert asked "Hey Jeffrey...... I forgot my cellphone in the car. Could you please go and bring it?"
Jeffrey replied "Sure."
Jeffrey left the park.
Robert said "Lauren, I need your help. I want you to make a fake medical report on Jessica's death."
Lauren replied "No....I'm not going to do it."
Louis asked "What if we offer you fifty grand ?"
Lauren replied "I'm sorry. But, still my answer is no. I don't want to die like the others."
Robert said (angrily) "Listen bitch.... This work can be done in two ways. Either you can take the money and make the report or you can leave us, I mean you leave the world."
Lauren replied "Robert, please try to understand me."
Robert said "We are running out of time......Tell me, will you do it or die ?"
Lauren replied "Okay.....Okay I'll."
Louis asked Robert "Where's Smith ?"
Robert replied "He is in Vietnam."
Louis said "So, he ran away like a coward."
Robert replied "No, he'll come when we need him."
Lauren asked "Guys, what should I write in the report."
Robert replied "You should write that Jessica was brutally raped and murdered by Jeffrey."
Louis asked "Our Jeffrey ? But, why?"
Robert replied "Because, we need someone to take the blame of Jessica's murder from our head to their........and Jeffrey's perfect."
James said "But when it comes to the court, it's all over. He would tell the whole truth."
Robert replied " No...it won't happen. I'll make Jessica's parents file a suit against Ron for their daughters murder. Then, I'll investigate the case and arrest Jeffrey and submit Lauren's report in the court."
Louis said "Yes, then we can appoint a dummy advocate for Jeffrey. He will act in favour of Jeffrey but, will try his best to prove that Jeffrey is guilty."
James replied "Wow.... If the burden of Jessica's murder is on Jeffrey's shoulders, we can face Ron legally."
At Jessica's house
Janet wasn't in the house. She has gone to the university to do some enquiry regarding her studies.
Robert knocks the door of Jessica's house. An old women opens the door. It was 'Margaret' Jessica's mom.
Robert said ''you are Jessica's mom, right ?''
Margaret replied ''yes I'm, who are you ?''
Robert said "I work in a police department and I came here to tell you something about your daughters death"
Margaret's eyes filled with tears.
Margaret said "I don't want to listen anything , she's gone ."
Robert replied "Listen madam, your daughters death wasn't a normal death. She was brutally raped and murdered. Here is the medical report."
Robert gave that report to Margaret.
Robert said "if you could just file a petition to investigate Jessica's death then, we could bring that man in the eyes of justice and stop him from harming any other girls."
Margaret said "Okay, I'll talk about this to her father and tell you"
Robert said "Thank you "
Robert left the house. Jeffrey was waiting for him in the car.
After few minutes
Janet came to the house.
Margaret angrily "Tell me how did your sister died ?"
Janet replied "Acc-cident"
Margaret said "Stop lying to me.... I have her postmortem report."
Janet asked "Who gave you this?"
Margaret replied "A police officer, Robert."
Janet said "You don't know who he is. He is the biggest criminal of the whole city."
Margaret said "I don't want to listen pros and cons of a person. Tell me how did Jessica died ."
Janet asked "But, first you tell me, why did he came here?"
Margaret replied "He wants me to file a petition to investigate Jessica's death."
Janet replied "Okay"
Janet told her how Jessica died but did told her what she and Ron did after that.
Janet then informed Ron about Roberts moves and that report.
Jeffrey said "Robert..... Jessica's parents are now living in New Jersey."
