Chapter 2:Remember, It is a patience game
I was preparing for the test and I listened the door bell. I opened the door,he was my roommate
Joseph.
Another major character,he was smiling and listening to rock music.He came inside the room, then
switched on his laptop and started coding.He was a structured guy,a guy with an aim and passion to
learn.
He asked me:”So,what’s today’s news?”
I replied:”I am having class test tomorrow”.
He smiled and replied:”I think you didn’t understand the question,I meant some new stuff”.
Here “new stuff” means tragedies.
“That’s like my boy”:I wondered.
I explained him everything and waited for his reaction.But,for my surprise he didn’t gave any
identical reaction.
He said:”I am used to it.”Roommates are like earthquake,unpredictable and dangerous.
He told me to cool down and wait for the refund.
Few days passed away,But I didn’t got any refund or any message from the bank or the app.
I was tensed.I was losing patience and something very important.
Next day,I was not able to control the patience so I called the customer care.
I explained him everything and he told me to hold the call for 5 mins.
“When you are impatient,timely things are not so timely”.
I waited for 15 minutes and then he was back on the call.
He told me that he has forwarded my request and I will be getting the refund in 7 working days.
“Are you sure”:I said.
“Yes,sir”:He replied.
I disconnected the call without thanking him for the assistance.Well,try to appreciate each person
who guides you to the correct path.
I then opened the calender and calculated 7 working days.
7 was my lucky number so I waited and kept my cool.
Luckily,7 days passed away easily,and unluckily refund was not credited.
I called the customer care and told him about the previous conversation regarding the refund.
“Ask,the bank sir,we have already transferred the amount to your bank”:He said.
This was a big updated,I was happy because I thought something is in my favour.
“When you realise that the things will be sorted soon,you are actually planning for a long run”.
Then I contacted the bank for the same and got the same reply”it will be updated soon”.
