Chapter 3:The fight
Chapter 4:Sorted
Chapter 3:The fight
5 days passed and I was very much upset.
One day,When I was going to the gym my roommate asked”Did you got the refund, bro ??”.
I replied”No,I tried calling to all the possible people”.
“Maybe bank is updating”,He replied.
By what dimension is bank updating.
“Thanks for the update”,I said.
I called the bank manager of my branch, told him the total days I waited for the refund, and requested
him to do something for getting my money back.
He said”It will take 5 working days to reflect the money in your account”.
“Is this thing you tagline”I replied.
“Sorry sir,I didn’t understand that”.he replied.
I disconnected the phone and started wondering what to do next.
After some time,my roommate came from the grocery store.
“Are the things sorted”He said.
“No,not now”I replied.
“I think you will not be getting the refund”He said.
“Don’t make predications and relax, prepare yourself for each possible outcome”.
And then we started fighting for no reason.
“Don’t you dare to speak this kind of things” I said.
And then war began.
We didn’t talked with each other for 7 days.
I was upset, not because of the fight, because of the lost transaction.
I then opened my call history for getting some crucial details.
I checked and calculated the time I wasted for getting back the money.
It was around 6 hours.
Well, you can launch a website with this much time limit and can get some hits if you have a good
marketing strategy or a circle of friends.
I was very upset.
Next morning, when I was going to my college as usual,I fell down from the cycle.
I injured my leg after the accident.
I then returned home and applied first aid to the wounds, and then went to college by auto.
While travelling,I was thinking about the refund, the refund was turned from a mystery to my love.
“Love what you like, but love something if you care ,not something that is satisfying your needs”.
After attending the lectures,I went back to my room.
Our Mid-term exams were over and we were free for few weeks.I decided to go home and meet my
parents.I booked the train tickets online.
“When everything is sorted, just go with the flow”.
Meeting parents after a long long time is fun.
I called my dad and told him that I am coming home.
He was happy.
Home is heaven, returning home is like returning to the base camp after the war,the safest place for
me with the best buddies, mother and father.
“Kitna patla ho gaya hai waha jakar tu,kuch khata vata bhi hai ya nahi??”
Typical Indian Mom’s are ready to welcome you with their favourite dialogues.
“Mumma, weight check kara lo,5 kgs increase hua hai”.
And as usual, she didn’t replied to this statement.
I finished my food and then started talking with ma and pa.
I narrated them lots of past memories and they liked the way I sorted the things.
“Hey,what about the refund” My father said.
“Na,I didn’t get that”I replied.
“Can you tell me the days” He said.
“44 days,dad” I replied.
He laughed and then replied ”I think you didn’t got the point,I mean for how many days you troubled
yourself for this thing”.
Small Issue?
6 hours of interaction with the customer care who were requesting me to be patient or my roommate
who just concluded that refund will not come ,so that I can cool down.
I analysed and then I calculated the total sum.
Infinite tension level.
6 hours+1 friend=7,but by wrong math.
I was not having a time machine, but I was having a phone to call my ex-friend.
Ex-friend here means the one who is close to your heart.
But,is this the right time? I asked myself.
I thanked my dad for giving me the path for sorted life.
Still,1 thing was not sorted, the lost transaction.
