I woke up all sweaty and in shock. That was the weirdest dream in my life so far. I went to the bathroom and splashed some water in my face. Right after I felt completely awake. I went back to the bedroom and saw on the clock that it just was half past 6. So it was useless to go back to sleep. I packed all my stuff in my bags and put them on the bed. After that, I walked downstairs. Rolf saw me arrive and asked: "What are you up early. Didn't sleep too well?"

"It's not that I haven't slept. But I always get up early out of my own free will." Rolf just started to laugh and said: "I have never met someone who out of their own free will is awake early. "

I started to laugh with Rolf. In the kitchen, I made a little breakfast for myself. After eating breakfast I said to Rolf: "Since I will be going today I just wanted to say thank you for your hospitality that you and your pack have given me. But I still do have a personal mission that I need to do." Rolf nodded and ask: "That is alright. Is there anything that you still need for on the way?"

After some thinking, I realized that I didn't have a light with me for in the dark. "Do you have a flashlight and some matches and maybe a notebook or something like that?"

Rolf replied: "Of course we do have that. Do you have a cellphone with you or anything like that?" I also realized that I didn't take my phone with me. "I don't have a phone with me."
Rolf smiled and said: "Well then, we got one for you that you can have. Would you like it?" I was surprised that he asked for it. "Yes, I would need to have one wouldn't I." Rolf stood up and said: "Wait here, I will look for all the stuff you still need." After some time he got back and gave me a little plastic bag with everything in there. He said while he gave it to me: "I have added my phone number and those of my beta and omega on your phone. If you ever need help, just call, okay?"

I nodded and looked at the phone and said: "Thank you, I will hold you on to that." Then Rolf continued: "Ï also added a normal charger and one that works on solar energy. 'Cause I don't think you will go to hotels all the time with your personal goal."

I took all the stuff Rolf gave me and walked back to my room and added it in my backpack. While I was putting everything in my bag, it just hit me. Out of nowhere, I realized that I am left alone. BY MY OWN PARENTS. They left me alone to die. From now I will be truly utterly be all by myself. I put on my bags, looked at the mirror at myself, and walked out of the room.

Before I really would go, I sat down on the grass and just started to draw my view and surrounding and all the new people that I've met. Adding their names on the bottom of the drawing. So that I could remember them for always. While I was busy drawing someone just gripped my drawing book and took it out of my hands. I turned around and saw that it was the beta. He looked somewhat focused on my drawings and I asked him: "Do you like them?" He replied: "Your drawings are so awesome. But of course, the drawing of me is the best. I blushed a bit and said: "Thank you, but can I have it back. That way I can color in the last few drawings. "

He nodded and gave my drawing book back and I went on with my drawings. After some time I was done with my drawings and walked for one last time into the packhouse to go to the kitchen. In the kitchen, I made lunch for myself. I packed my lunch and followed the scent of the alpha to say him one last time goodbye. You could smell his authority in his scent. Then everyone in the room started to laugh. The omega came to me and gave me a handshake and said: "You are a special person. Just remember that." After the omega, the alpha came and said: "I can drop you at our border, and then you can go to a city that is just about 10 km walk."

That would be very kind of him. "If that is possible, thank you." The alpha and I started to walk. When we where outside he just changed into his brown wolf. He sat down and I climbed on his back. After an hour or a little more, he stopped running and I knew that we are by the border. I climbed off his wolf and gave him a little pat on his head. Then I said: "I am so grateful, truly you don't know how much I am. And because of that, I made a little something for you and the rest of you pack. Like a sort thank you."

I picked up a little bag within there a couple of drawings that I made for them. He opened his mouth to put it into. I put the handles on his fang and said quickly: "Goodbye."

And I crossed the border and when I was just over it I looked back and saw the alpha running back. After the alpha was away I put on my necklace to cover my scent. Now I truly need to be careful and make sure I don't cross other wolfs, not every pack is so kind. I just started to run one direction. After some time I saw a good lookout tree and climbed in it and ate there my lunch.

After eating my lunch I could smell a rabbit. A roasted rabbit is nice as dinner. So I followed the scent of the rabbit to catch is. But while I was hunting for this rabbit I came by a bush with berries. I love berries so I couldn't let them hang there. I saw that there still was a little bin in my school bag so I filled it as much as I could with berries. After I was done plucking the berries I followed the rabbit scent again. I took out my pocket knife and now it was a cool thing to be a werewolf. I am faster than a normal human and I run faster than the normal werewolf. But that is logical I am an alpha's daughter. So I had to train harder and more than the rest of the wolfs. I was running through the forest. I saw the rabbit but the rabbit didn't see me. Till it was too late. Now just hoping for some stream of water so that I can clean the rabbit and me. After some time running I just went walking because I was getting tired, my bags were getting heavier on my shoulders. Then I heard the sound of water like it is somewhere close. Of course, I followed the sound of water and I found a big lack in the middle of the forest. I cleaned the rabbit and skinned it. Then I took off my shirt to clean it real quick and took a new one out of my bag to wear. The skin of the rabbit I could use to make something for if it gets to winter. You never know how cold it gets. I saw a cave close by the lake and I took all my stuff and walked towards the cave. It was the perfect spot to make a fire and a warm place to sleep in.

My shoulders started to hurt after carrying those have bags all day. What I could use is an ice bath. But that luxury I don't get here. So I'm gonna make a heat pack lay on my sore muscle. Now I released something. The alpha said there was a city close by, but I am still in the forest, while I have been running and walking all day. I probably walked the wrong directions. Well, it is getting late and will be dark soon. So I will find my way to the city tomorrow.

Now I need to make a fire first. After some time my fire was big enough to roast the rabbit on and when the rabbit had a nice golden brown color I knew it was ready to eat. What was I hungry. I used my pocket knife to cut the meat. After eating the rabbit I took some water and had as dessert the berries that I found today. Meanwhile, it was already dark so a good moment to go to sleep. I made my fire smaller so that it would go out on his own and I just went to sleep.

The next day I turned on my phone and saw that Rolf had sent me a message.

Hey,

There were some guys on our property looking for you. So they are on your track. If I where you, I would go so soon as possible to a crowded city. Because there your smell is more difficult to track. If you are in the city find Olaf and tell him I had sent you. You will find out why,

I was totally shocked, now I do have to find the city fast. Of course, I was grateful that Rolf had warned me. So I sent him a message back.

Hey,

I am on my way to the city, thank you for warning me. I will look out for those men.

After sending the message I turned off my phone to save some energy, 'cause I do not know when I have the time to charge it. I went to the lake and washed my hands and face, eat a little food that I still had in my bag drank some water, and went on looking for the city. I have to be there at the end of the day.

After some time walking in the woods I could see far away from me a high way. If I could go there and ask someone who was going to the city to take me with them. That would be amazing. I started to run to the high way and when I was there I could see a car coming from far away. When the car got closer I just started to wave. Hoping that the car would stop.

It worked! The car started to go slower and stopping right in front of me. In the car sat an old lady. She opened her window and asked: "What can I help with" I replied saying: "If it's possible could I come with you to the city. I am on the run from someone and I need to be there so fast as possible."

I could see the old lady her face that she pitied me. "Go on and put your bags in the back and hop in."

I did as she said and went in the car in the front. "Thank you that you would take me there. Do you maybe know some Olaf, a friend told me he would shelter me or something like that", I told the old lady. She smiled at me kindly and replied: "Maybe you mean my grandson, he is called Olaf and is well known in the city."

That I didn't expect, so I asked: "Is it possible that I could be brought there?" The old lady was still smiling and said: "For such a lovely young lady as you, I could do that."

The rest of the drive to the city we didn't talk much. Till the old lady said: "We are here. I hope that Olaf is there." I stepped out of the car and took my bags out of it and told the old lady: "Thank you that you wanted to bring me here." The old lady nodded friendly and drove off.

So there I was with my big backpack in front of what looked like a big house with a beautifully detailed fence. There was like a bell by the fence and I called on it. I heard a voice coming from it saying: "Hello, what can I do for you."

I didn't know what to say, so I just replied. "Rolf had sent me here to Olaf." I heard the person laughing on the other side and said: "I was informed, I was waiting for you. I thought you would already be here by now."

The gates went open and I just walked inside. After a little walk, I was by the front door of the house and the door went open and I saw a man walking out. He is maybe a couple of years older than me. Maybe around the 20. I looked at him and smelled werewolf on him, but he also wasn't my mate. But I must admit he isn't bad to look at.

The men started to talk: "Hey, I am Olaf. I was called by Rolf and has explained the situation to me. You are now by a sort of pack, but that will be explained later. And he asked me to thank you for the presents. They loved it."

That made me blush, which means they loved my drawings. I replied: "Uhmm, what am I being here for?"

Olaf started to smile and laugh and said: "I will learn you how to defend yourself and to fight against your enemy and I will look if there is a way to wake up the wolf inside of you."

It did surprise me that he said that. Learning to fight isn't bad and I already had alpha training. So it is not like I suck at it. But him saying he wanted to help to wake my wolf, I can't say no to that. "Thank you, is there a place I could put my stuff?"

Olaf nodded and replied: "Let me handle that, I will show you your room where you will stay at. After that, I will give you a short tour of the building and surroundings. It is much bigger than it looks. "

We walked through different hallways until we came to a door with the number 8. Olaf said by this door: "This is your room, but there is a chance someone may join you."I nodded and said: "That's ok, just not an ex-pack member." "I understand", Olaf replied with a kind voice.
We walked into the room, the wall where bright blue painted and there were two different beds, room to put the clothes in and two different desks and a big bathroom. Olaf asked me: "And what do you think of it?"

I reacted with a smile on my face: "It is great, but can I change a couple of things?" Olaf looked for a second like he was thinking extremely hard and then said: "You may, but no holes in the walls and if someone comes and joins you, the changes can only be on your side."

I laughed and said: "It's not like I am going to rebuild the whole room." Olaf laughed for a second and then looked serious again and said: "Would you like to meet the rest?"

I was a little scared, maybe someone will recognize me and tell my parents. Or there is a member of my old pack that didn't like me. But it wouldn't hurt to try. "Well sure."

Olaf and I just started to walk again in different hallways and at some point, Olaf said: "We are going to the dining room, here is where everybody eats. I have some announcements to make and then I can introduce you to the rest."

We walked for some more till we were by two big wooden doors, that was hand-carved with a beautiful pattern. Just before Olaf opened the doors said: "Here is what we eat and when we walking inside, just follow me."' I nodded and opened the big doors. I immediately noticed many young men and women just around the same age as me. It reminded me of school.

Wait, who am I seeing sitting there. No way, that is. No that can't be. I saw I think one of my friends sitting there. Olaf and I walked further into the room and there was a little stage and he walked on that stage. Out of the blue, Olaf yelled against every noise from the room and said: "Quiet everyone! I all need your attention."

He waited a little bit till everyone was quiet and he went on: "Firstly I want to introduce Serigala Cantik Jansen. Would you come here?" I didn't know what Olaf was planning, but I stepped to the stage. Olaf then said: "I need three last years to protect her, she is in a big danger. Also, she is going to take classes like everyone else, so treat her with the same respect."

Then he turned to me and whispers: "Say hello to everyone." I was thinking for a second what I was going to say because all the eyes were on me. Then I said: "Hey, well you all already heard my name. I can't wait to get to know some of you better and I don't want to be a burden to you because of my situation." Then Olaf turned to me and said: "Go and sit somewhere to eat something. You must be hungry." I walked off stage and just walked towards my old friend. When I was their table I ask those people: "Can I come and sit with you?"

One of the girls by the table said: "Of course, I am Anna."

Anna scooped up a bit so that I can sit beside her. After a little while, Olaf brought me some food and said: "After lunch I want you to meet the 3 last years." I smiled at Olaf and he walked away. When Olaf was away Anna whispered: "Let me introduce you to the rest."

The girl on the other side said: "I am Joella, nice to meet you." My older friend said: "I am Michael, but that you already knew." He smiled kindly and gave me a wink. The boy next to Anna said: "Hey, I am Jozua." After everyone introduced themselves Anna asked me: "From what do you know Michael?"

I couldn't tell her the truth, so I told her the best thing that came into my mind. "I have seen him before, but nothing else." I looked at Michael with a deathly glare, so that he could now not to tell anyone about the real reason. Michael said: "Yep, that's true."

I started to eat, while I was eating I got a speed lesson in how everything works here; The rules, the classes and how they like it. It's like a special training school. And after 3 years you are part of the elite in the werewolf community. That does sound really cool, my parents probably already knew about this place. But I didn't and I am truly blown away by the stories of the others.
After lunch, Olaf came to get me, and without saying anything I just started to follow him. After some time we came to his office. He told me: "You can go and sit, the rest comes in a second. But I can explain some stuff already, I presume they told you the basics?"

"YES!" I told him very excitedly. He went on talking: "That is good. Then you already know the rules. For now, I will explain some rules that are for your safety. First, make sure you are never alone when you want to go outside. Always make sure that someone is coming with you. Also, the top 3 last years will be your bodyguards. Also, they are the one to teach you about self-defense. Because there is a lot you need to catch up with. Do you get it so far?"

I nodded my head and just let it all sink in. After someone, we heard knocking on the door. Olaf shouted: "come in!" The door went open and there stood two boys and one girl. They looked like true strong warriors, a bit intimidating and scary. The other girl went up to me and immediately hugged me tightly. Which surprised me and I think also the others. The girls said to me: "Hey, I am Romy and those two boys over there that think they rule the world are Joost and Yuri."

I think it was Yuri that said next: "We don't think that way." I just started to laugh and replied: "In your dreams you do, probably." Then Romy also just started to laugh like crazy. Then Olaf interrupted us and said: "I still got something to discuss with you all."

I nodded and then Joost said angrily: "Hurry up a little, I am wasting my time here." Now he made me angry, why is he here if he doesn't want to. "Then why are you here? Just fuck off if you want to be here."

After my sort of anger explosion, Olaf restored the order and said: "Now back to business." It was quit for a second and he continues: "You three need to protect her 24/7, make sure that during the day and part of the evening at least 2 of you near her." He also explained some other stuff that wasn't important for me, but more for them. After Olaf was done talking I asked: "Can I go to my room now?"

Olaf nodded and replied: "Yes you can, but Romy of one of the boys needs to go with you." Yuri looked like he was bored and he said: "If that was all I will be going again." Yuri wanted to walk out of the door but just before he walked out of the room Olaf said: "No, you have to know this last thing."

Olaf took my arm and said: "Her life is on the line here. So don't just act like you don't care. You bring her life in danger. So just acted like you like this task, just like any other task we normally give you. Or else she is done."

Yuri looked shocked, but he still walked away. That made me speechless, he still didn't care that my life was on the line.

Romy went to me and asked: "What do you want to do now?" I didn't know what to reply at first but after some time I asked: "What time is it?" Joost spun his eyes and said: "It is around 4." I smiled at him and then Romy also just started to smile.

I just had a great idea: "Great, so there is still enough time to get to know you two better. If you guys are going to protect me, I need to trust you for 100%."

Joost nodded and asked: "So what do you want to know?"

Now it was my time to roll my eyes and said: "First we need to look for someone, a friend named Michael. Then we go to my room and I will ask some questions and you guys can do the same."

Romy looked like she just knew something: "I know where to find him. Follow me."
