Le Curieux, C’est ainsi qu’on l’appelait. Personne ne savait d’où il venait, Personne ne savait où il allait. Mais une chose était sûre, Une fois qu’on le voyait, Les secondes suivantes étaient effacées. C’est sur son visage terne et nébuleux, C’est dans ses yeux sombres et vitreux, Que l’on verrait l’invraisemblable, Au même prix que l’inconcevable. Il passait son temps à déambuler Le long des routes goudronnées, Le long des lacs gelés, Ou le long des chemins défigurés Il se promenait, Errait, Et divaguait sans pouvoir s’arrêter, Jusqu’à ce qu’il tombe nez à nez Avec votre âme absente et désorientée.
