Chapter 6: The illusion of Time
You see time is beneficial in many aspects. However time itself is not even real in actuality. For example at the end of a day you can look back on everything you did throughout that day & at the beginning of a day you can look forward & make plans & know exactly what you will do in routine. All while still remaining in the present. Imagine yourself getting up in the morning tomorrow & thinking back to where you learned this today. You're future self is looking back at you in the present & your present self is looking at you in the past. While it can go both ways. You're future self could be looking at an even more distant future self   or looking back at where you are currently. Just as you can as your present self look either forward to your future self or back to your past self as well as how your past self can look forward to your present self or backward to a further deeper version of your past self. The idea of time is merely a conceptual structure to keep people organized it's invention was intended to be a tool. It is not ideally acceptable to allow for a tool to govern your life. One of the most common misconceptions about time is that it is hard to understand why so much of it goes to waste. Since time is really just an illusion this can not be true. So what is it that is being wasted exactly? It is your creativity & productivity that are being wasted not your time. Just because you are standing in line or waiting for a prescription to be filled or whatever it may be. It is your choice what to do with the illusive tool of time while you are waiting. I once had a beautiful very intelligible friend who always remained a very busy body. Everytime I wanted to even speak to her I ended up waiting for sometimes up to two weeks. Finally I gathered up my nerve & wrote her an email. In the email I expressed my opinion of how it made me feel with her taking so long to get back to me & that when someone genuinely cares about someone else they will make time for them. I have shared with you the basic secrets of the illusion of time. Now it is left up to you to no longer live within the realm of time allowing it to control every aspect of your life for again it is not ideal to allow a tool to govern your life but instead to use it as a tool & mold time itself to fit your wants & needs.
Who else has noticed that life goes fast & slow at the same time. Patience is key & what exists today can build a better tomorrow the future is unwritten.
Interesting thing about time is that it's not about what you have time for but how you make time for things & its not about how much time you have but how you choose to spend it that matters
(Just a thought)
Who are we to determine how someone else is supposed to spend (their) time or even if they are wasting time?
If you can waste enough time to focus enough of your attention on how someone else is spending (their) time
In order to tell them that they are wasting time it raises the question really how much more productive could you be if you were using that time & concentration on things that actually matter.
