Chapter 2

They reappeared in a dark narrow alley, with brick walls on each side of them. The sound of people, and vehicles were like a non-stop ringing in their ears.

Ryzel backed further into the alley, as Kaze ventured out to see their surroundings.

Speeding cars passed, causing him to back up in surprise.

"Woah," he shouted quietly as he backed up.

"Ryzel, you need to come out and see this, see how different the human world is" he said in amazement.

Ryzel shook his head vigoriously, as he backed up to a brick wall.

Non stop images, the pain he felt, it felt so real, as he closed his eyes. He could see their faces.

The feeling of being stabbed, the looks they gave him, the false security they provided.

It a flooded into him, as he attempted to shake it out of his head.

His mutt, watched worriedly, shrieking and whining nonstop.

Kaz rushed to his side, he knelt beside Ryzel and instructed him to breathe.

"Those are just memories, come back  to the present" he instructed caringly.

Ryzel was still struggling to snap into reality, as it intensified.

"Ryzel, Ryzel, look at me, focus on my voice" he instructed once more.

He did as he was told, and gradually came back to the surface.

"Don't freak out like that again, it's scary" he joked as he punched his arm.

"Let's go find some living arrangements" he suggested.

Ryzel followed behind Kaz closely, as they left from the narrow alley.

Kaz found a hotel, but soon ran into a new problem.

"Ryzel, we forgot to ask Dad for money" Kaz muttered.

Ryzel stared at his older brother, he left it a soft sigh as he reached into his pocket and handed him the needed currency.

Kaz gawked at the piece of plastic before him, excitingly staring at it.

the mischievious spirit giggled, as it left a nearby building.

"what's so damn funny!" Kaz seethed.

"don't make trouble here you damn fiend"  he exclaimed.

" hide your beast Ryzel" he ordered as he got ready to enter the hotel.

Ryzel stared at his beast before it flew upwards, it spread out it's medium sized wings and took to the air.

"where did you send it? we are in the human world, where could he possibly go!" Kaz yelled annoyingly.

Ryzel gestured for him to quiet down, as he ignored him.

"Lets go" he sighed while pulling him into the building.

"yoo, I'm Kaz get me the finest room you have" he demanded while slamming the card on the counter.

Ryzel hand shot up to Kaz sleeve.

Kaz rubbed his head gently, as he rushed the desk clerk.

"hurry it up, will you"

"yes sir, I'm going as fast as I can"

he swiped the card, and gave him a set of keys.

"thanks, we'll take it from here" he said with a warm smile.

he took Ryzel by the hand and led him up the stairs, humans are too lazy to take the stairs so I doubt we meet others coming this way.

Ryzel calmed down and followed behind him, in a calm manner.

"oh spoke to soon"

"I'm so sorry!" a feminine voice exclaimed.
