"Yuka, Ken, you two will be first, get ready to present your essay please " she gestured for us to come to the front of the class.

Yuka reluctantly got up, he lazily walked to the front of the class, while Ken grabbed the paper and stood beside yuka.

"so...what's the paper called?" The teacher asked excitedly "living is hard but dying is easy" he spoke loud and clear while peeking over at Yuka.

Ken eyes stayed glued on the class while, he read their paper, Yuka was detached from it all, he didn't care if he got a bad grade, and he didn't care if no one else understood him.

"read it already!" The other kids grew impatient and loud.

"okay...the paper we wrote says, it's harder to live for many reasons, the depressed state you go into make you see only the negative In yourself and others, suicidal thoughts form making you want to end it all, but that's easy with a slit of your wrist, or a jump out  your bedroom window"

"if you suppress that feeling of death, you will be stronger than you already are. The fact know one tries to understand others is saddening, and frustrating. But, I believe if you have that one good friend that's supporting you, you'll receive a piece of that happ..." before he could continue the rest the school bell had ring, letting everyone know it was time for lunch.

Yuka walked towards the door and quickly opened it.

"wait up Yuka!" Ken hurried to his side as he left out "you're loud... shut up sometimes" Yuka scoffed as they walked to the lunch room, Ken talked Yuka head off and ignored his  request.

"what do you want to eat Yuka?" Ken asked as he pulled him into the lunch line, but yuka got out and sat at a table.

"nothing" he said as he sat down ignoring his  growing hunger.

"I have to wait, to eat at home since my parents didn't give me money" he thought in his head.

"everything looks so good" ken drooled out as he looked around on everybody trays.

"go eat idiot" Yuka insulted him with his usual monotone tone.

"okay then, stay right here" he smiled before running to the lunch line.

watching from a distance he yearned to be able to smile like that, but he couldn't,  since he learned the truth about this God forsaken world.

"why do I feel so small?" Yuka questioned as his anger grew in him and feelings of death came swirling in his head.

"back, did you wait long?" Ken sat his tray down beside him and took a seat. "The food really did look good" yuka thought as he looked at his tray filled with food.

" want some fries " Ken offered and he ate a fry.

"you eat like a bunny" Ken  pinched Yuka cheeks while he chewed on a fry.

"You're weird" Yuka stated as he smacked his hands away from his face, and glanced at him from the corner of his eye.

"why is he always smiling?" he questioned in his head "what's the secret?" He questioned, but his body started aching in agony,  he stood up and wobbled away in pain.

"where you going Yuka?" He asked before getting up, and followed behind him, trying to assist.

"Yuka what's wrong?" he asked before Yuka collapsed in the hall fully awake. he clutched his stomach and writhed in pain.

"lemme see" Ken tore Yuka's hands away from his stomach, and lifted his blue shirt up.

"this is horrible" Ken whispered as he  looked at his bruised body.

He helped him up, and gotten him to the nurse office.

"What's wrong with you two?" She tried taking him from Ken helping hands, but he smacked her hands away.

"let her help Yuka" Ken begged while she slowly approached.

"don't call my parents,Okay?" he gave in, and allowed her to help him.

She took off his shirt so she could see his whole upper body, and they both cringed.

"What happened?" She felt the bruises which caused him immense pain "this, this is love for me" he smiled, filled with his pain and twisted view of love.

"you need to go to a hospital" she stated. he looked at Ken worried face, before his eyesight grew blurry and his body grew light.

he was caught in the nurse arm before he could hit the hard tile floor. The heaviness of his eye lids were lifted when he fell into the darkness of his mind that seemed to cover up his pain.

Oddly he could see, and hear everything that was around him, as if he was awake. He didn't know what to make of it. As he worried for his safety.
