Timber and I pick blossoms together and he slowly leans forward and puts a blossom in my hair.I pause. This is what Jaymi did to me,that made me feel special,it almost made feel I was not a mean girl before,I really want to tell him that...I love him.
Jaymi:Hey,I haven't talked to you since yesterday,please?
Christine:Sure 😤
"Umm...Timber I'll come back,I need to meet up with a friend."
"Sure."
I walk to the park,I quickly remove the blossom before Jaymi sees it. I see Jaymi sitting on the swings by himself.
"Hey..."
"Hey."
"You know...the things that was said?I'm sorry...I really am and I feel incomplete without you,can you please come back to me?"
"Christine..."
He leans forward...and I let it happen for once.
"I'm glad we sorted this out,text you later."
"Yeah,sure." He says smiling.
"Oh stop it." I blush
I walk back to my house. Timber was still collecting blossoms.
"Where's your blossom?"
"I lost it."
"Oh..."
"I'm sorry...we just can't have that connection...I really felt it,but I'm into someone else."
"I really-...it's ok."
I go inside my house and he leaves a note in the postbox,I read it aloud:

'Dear Christine,

I really thought we had a connection too...but who is this boy,who changed you all of a sudden? I really liked you,you said the blossom I put in your hair was lost,I want to believe that but I'm guessing its not true.I am in an old,isolated city,I trekked so far,no one will find me

its a hard place to locate.
