Transparente, inexistante, Assez pour que tu le ressentes Souvenir, image effacée, Voilà ce que tu es, fragile poupée Tu hurles et tu cries Ton appel se perd dans la nuit Tu frappes cette paroi Mais personne ne l'entend à part toi. Poupée d'argile, poupée de verre Au coeur fragile devenu pierre Perles océan, perles salées, Gouttes de sang te voilà soulagée. Tâches d'encre et vermeil Tu peines à trouver le sommeil, Assaillie de pensées Tu finis par craquer. Plume à la main, en prose tu poses ta souffrance Et tes maux en vers fragiles comme le verre. Et ça va de mieux en mieux, jusqu'au lendemain et sa réalité Crie, pleure fragile poupée.

I saw a dream, and there were you, And there was coldness in your eyes. I wonder what a kind of true Made you become as cold as ice. And later I looked back to get a sense This empty glance was hellish call of past. It used to be a high and strong defense Against the world, the pain and me at last. You looked at me, and peering in your soul, I felt so lonely, as something vital died. And that is what I fear most of all - That nothing gentle will remain inside. Inside of you. Inside of me as well. And nothing will be said to farewell.
