"Your going to be alright," you say, lying through your teeth so you don't hurt my feelings. Doing what you think would make me happy, acting like everything is fine, treating me like Im just another sixteen year old girl, patronizing and cynical. "Your doing it for my own 'good'," You say. When really, all your doing is hurting me. Making me feel worst than I already do. Another day of pretending to be your perfect little girl and I'm so tired.

Moon and Sun
Without your light, I am dark.
I will wither in the cold and drown in it's vicious torment of loneliness.
I need your light to guide me toward the night and away from the day.
Though I'm not the only one in need of your light, our lost children that are scattered across the night, will go unseen.
We need your light to survive this world of anguish.
Don't burn out, don't leave us.
