Desired Thoughts
You are the reason
Midnight Thoughts
I'm so sorry
Truth or Dare
Are you sure we are alone?
Take my hands across your body
She's your own flesh and blood
I wanted to see you
You are the reason
A few silent seconds went by, and Willow heard footsteps getting closer. She felt a warm hand pressed against her back, and heard a soft-spoken voice. It was Rosie. Why is she here? She asked if everything was okay, and Willow just nodded. "Everything didn't look okay" she said. Willow didn't want to sob to Rosie, and embarrass herself even more.

"I'll be fine" she replied. Rosie' s face dropped a little bit. She told Willow that she wouldn't judge her, she isn't the type to judge. She told her that she can trust her. She will keep everything that they say between themselves. That she would be Willows shoulder to cry on. But Willow was still silent.

"You know, I cant help you if you don't tell me anything. I am here for you. I don't want anyone being upset like this. I can tell it just wasn't the whole ball thing. It's much more. I know."

"You don't even know half of it" implied Willow

"Then tell me. I will try and help you. I will do the best I can to see that smile"

Willow took a deep breath in, slowly letting it escape from her lips.  "Everything is a mess. Nothing ever goes right for me. Every time I try to fit in, it goes down hill. Always. Everything has always been a mess. Everyday is the same. There is always someone to judge me and laugh. I'm suffocating trying to fit in. There are monsters inside of me. Growing. Eating me away. I don't open up to people because of this. I don't reach out for help because I have learned to just get on with it. Because nobody cares. Nobody has, nobody will. I know it's stupid. We don't talk and I've just told you some of the things that's going on in my head, but-..."

"Don't say that. It's not stupid. It's okay, not to be okay. Don't be ashamed of being yourself. The right people will come along. You didn't have to let them monsters eat you away. I can help you fight them. I don't think a beautiful soul like yours should be eaten away."

"A beautiful soul? How can you say that? We don't really know each other. We are basically strangers. Why are you even listening to this? You love gym class, so why are you wasting your time on me when you could be enjoying yourself, doing what you love?"

"Yeah I like gym class, but I hate seeing someone down at heart. I love to see their smiles come back. I swear that I'll stay here, with you and make sure that Every thing is going to be okay. I won't leave.

"Everyone leaves."

"But I'm not everyone. I will try and help you because i said i would"

"Thanks, I guess." A small smile curved at Willows lips.

"Do you want to go back in? If not we can stay out here. You decide."

"I'll try again."

"That's all I ask for. But first come here a second." Willow turns to face Rosie. She lifts her hands to touch Willows cheeks. Gently wiping away the tears that once took over. "That's better."

Rosie lead Willow back to class and giving everyone a glare that even looked in their direction. She stood by Willows side. Never left. Didn't even think about leaving. She couldn't. She wanted to make everything right.

At lunch, Rosie asked if Willow would come and hang around but was disappointed when she turned her offer down. So she hung around Willow. Made sure it was just them. Willow tried to tell her that she prefers her own company, but she couldn't. Why was she trying to push away someone who is trying so hard to help. Only Rosie could that she was hurting, and only Rosie was trying to help.

The last bell rang, and Rosie saw Willow walking alone. When she caught up with her, she asked how the rest of the day went. Of course the reply was, 'the usual'.

"Do you have any plans for tonight?" Asked Rosie

"Not really no. I just go home and read. How about you?"

"Nothing much to be honest with you. So, you like reading? What is your favourite genre?"

"Emm, I mean I like all types of books but my favourite could be fiction. You got anything you prefer reading?"

"I read comics. Yeah, a bit nerdy I suppose. Why do you like fiction? Tell me."

"One, reading comics is not nerdy. Two, I haven't actually read comics I need to try that. Any suggestions?"

"I'll tell you some, after you tell me why you prefer fiction." She said with a smirk on her face.

"Well..." Willow began, while starting to blush. "It's my escape from reality. Where everything actually makes sense. Now I've done my deal."

"I couldn't agree more with you. But if I'm being honest, I havent actually thought about suggestions. But I could write up a list for you tonight, and give it to you tomorrow. If that's okay with you?"

"Suppose. I am sorry to end it here, but I am home now." Willow said slowly.

"Don't apologise. I will see you tomorrow and we will have more fun." She said with a smile across her face. "Enjoy reading. See you tomorrow."

As Willow was about to walk through the front door, she turned and shouted to Rosie " Thank you."

Rosie smiled, and waved. She seemed pleased with her self. Willows heart was beating fast, and Rosie was the reason. Did today just actually happen?
