I remember when I was in 3rd year highschool, way before knowing Hana. I was walking inside the storage room of our school because my teacher ordered me to get something. You can smell the old boxes inside. Its quite dark, I can barely see the things inside so I walked slowly.

Where the hell is that freaking box? There's an old yearbook inside the box that I'm looking for. I really dont know why the hell my teacher need that old freaking yearbook? The moment I found the box I heard someone entered the room. So I hide somewhere near me which is a great spot. I saw a woman and a varsity from a higher class entered the storage room.
Why the hell? Don't tell me they're about to make out?! Oh ghad! My innocent eyes!

"ARE YOU SERIOUS?!" He shouted.
"Yes, I'm dead serious Bryan. I'm breaking up with you. I can't take this anymore." She explained with a waving tone.
"Let me make it up to you"
"You tried remember? But no matter what I do. No matter what make-up I used. You still end up cheating on me" she cried.

Damn. What a bastard making that woman cry. She must be really inlove with him? But ended up being fed up. Anyway this is not my business after all? So why bother. I was about to get out of the storage room when I heard the woman shouted for help. I saw Bryan forcing himself to that woman. I really dont know what the hell what's on my mind but my whole body just ran straight to them and guess what? I punched the hell out of that Bryan.

"WHAT THE HELL?!" Bryan shouted. While forcing himself to stand up. I saw how furious his eyes are. I can feel my heart is about to explode. "Dont you fucking touch her again" said I. Well at that moment I really dont know what on earth am I doing. All I know is that I'm doing the right thing. I grabbed her hand and ran away outside the storage room then suddenly stopped infront of the library.

"Th-thank you very much" said she. You can hear her voice cracking, then I realized I'm holding her hand for a bit long time now so I apologize. The first moment I saw her face, I already knew why that bastard Bryan doesnt want to break up with her. But still he cheated he deserved to be punched that hard.
Her face is cute, brown eyes,short hair and she's quite tall. She gave me a smile even though you can see how broken her eyes are.

"I'm Elizabeth by the way. Elizabeth Miller but you can Eli for short" said she. I really dont know why but my heart started to pound so fast. Maybe because we ran so fast earlier?

"Well, I'm John. John Maxwell because you can just call me Max." Said I while offering to shake her hand.
"nice to meet you Max. Tha-thank you for saving me back there."
"You're welcome. Just be more careful next time okay?"
"You're welcome" Said I giving her my warm smile.

Starting that day, we always together. Fetching her earlier in the morning and bringing her back to their home after classes. I know it sounds cheezy but I really do care about her even though she bullies me every goddamn time. Every moment that I'm spending with her is special. Without her realizing it but she's really special to me.
Until one day, I was about to visit her because she's not feeling well that day but something happened. Bryan and his three other bastards came to me.

"Yep, He's the one. That sucker who punched my face" He said aggresively.
"Yep, The sucker who beat the bastard with in punch" I brag, then the three suckers laughed. I smiled even though I know this might be the end. But I told myself, No. Eli needs me. Nobody can take care of her like I do. Nobody can comfort her like I do. And nobody lov-

I did not finish thinking those things because I already felt how hard of their punches are. I fell down through the ground,covering my face,saving my air to breathe and I can feel my blood running down through my head.
Is this it? Is this the end? But luckily there was a police patroling that day. They were arrested and went to jail. I was sent to the hospital but got out in the same day. They told me it wasnt that bad that's why they let me leave the hospital.

The moment I stepped inside the house of Elizabeth. She came straight right at me, running. Then gave me a hug while she's crying.
"I thought I'm going to lose you, you idiot!" She cried. Her parents are watching, giving me their smiles. Actually her parents and I are close friends. They always invited me whenever there's an occasion. They also thought I'm Elizabeth's boyfriend because of the way we treat each other.
I hugged her so tight that moment. Then we went to her room and we had a serious conversation.

"You really thought you're going to lose me dont yah?" I joked about it. She didn't laugh or even smiled.
"Of course. I dont wanna lose you." Said she with her serious tone.
"Hey, I'm just joking"
"Of course I know that! Idiot" Eli shouted.

Everything began to feel so peaceful. You can't hear a thing. Then she started to asked me these questions.

"Max?"
"What if…one day you fall inlove with someone. Are you still going to talk to me like this? Are we still going to school and going to my house after class together? Are we still together if that happens?" She asked. I was about to joke something but the moment I saw her face, my heart just fall apart. I saw how she handle every pain with her teary eyes. I didn't answer the questions she asked me. I just hugged her as tight as I can. Then three days after that conversation, I started to know Utsukushi Hana.

And I now. Her lips are against mine. But why does it feel so strange? Why does my heart aching? What is this strange feeling?
