Today I have to lead the group of collectors. I mean we all will split in to groups of two. I put a male (number 23) and a female (number 24) together. They liked each other so I put them together. I put numbers 11 and 12 together ( male and female) because they were best friends. I put myself and my best friend crystal together, then number 4 and 5 they were brother and sister. Which makes me sad because of Caleb. When he was 10 he had ran away from home. He went to my ex boyfriend's house. My ex is now taking care of Caleb. Well if they haven't been attacked by flesh eaters. We are all making our way to my old home town. I mean it is still sad to see this old hell. I recognize most of these houses. One of the groups said they heard something in my old house. “ group 23 and 24 go around back and check, crystal and I will check inside the house,4 and 5 will go check around the house with 23 and 24, 11 and 12 follow crystal and I.” I instructed. They obeyed, crystal looked at me and she asked, “ you sure you want to go back to this hell hole?”  “It will be ok I guess” I said with uncertainty. I walked ahead of her. I opened the door. It creaked loudly. I pulled my flashlight out it blinked to life. We walked in with 11 and 12. I whispered to my group members, “ there might be either other survivors or there are flesh eaters. So have your weapons ready. I highly doubt there is any survivors because the only people who were last in the house was my parents. So I really don't know. I'm going to check up stairs with number 11. (male) 12 go with crystal to check out the bottom half of the house.”  We all split up. Number 11 followed me up the stairs. I took out my silencer and attached it to my pistol. Number 11 did the same. I heard something moving and someone talking louder than us. I  signaled 11 to be quiet. He nodded. I crouched down and he followed my lead. We reached my parents old room where the sound was coming from. I stood up and made sure my gun was ready. 11 did the same. I inhaled then slowly exhaled. I kicked the door off its hinges. The people who where there yelled and jumped back. I saw who they where. It was my brother and my ex. “Caleb?” I said with a little hope. Caleb looked at me. “Maria!?” he responded. We walked over to each other. “Maria? Ex baby I miss you so much!!!” my ex said with surprise and joy. I hugged Caleb. Caleb hugged me back and we stood there for what seemed like forever. He started crying on my shoulder. “It's ok Caleb. You have me back. You can join the group and camp. So can a** face  … I mean my ex boyfriend. Who's name I won't mention because he is a loser still I assume.”  Caleb laughed. Then looked at me with the same look he gave me when I was sent to camp. The sad but hopeful blue eyed look. “You've gotten bigger from the last time I saw you. I miss my little brother.” I said with a sad smile. Caleb wiped his eyes. Then said with a much more mature and grown up voice, “ I miss you too sis. It has been 15 years. I've been worried about you all of these years. Mom and dad are still alive but barely. Mom has marks on her neck I don't know how she got those cause every time I ask her she won't tell me. She just growls at me. Dad is still strict his knee is f***ed up still. He won't tell me what happened. He said that you left us cause you didn't care about us anymore. I told them that they are lying and that you'll come back one day.”  “Caleb you know I always care about you. I knew that it was the best for me when I left. Mother and father were never nice to us when we were kids.  They used to abuse us. I caused father to have a bad knee and mother to have marks on her neck. When you were one father had walked into your room after a fight with mother and hit me when I hit the floor he took a angered step towards you. So I kick him in the back of the knee.  I saved you several times from dad killing you. I will always protect you. I promise that.” I said to Caleb in a reassuring voice.
