Daniel kept admiring and thinking about Maria. To make her love him, he decided to focus in class. Not only on Maria's subject but also other subjects. He started respecting teachers and stopped bullying other students. Some of the students were surprised and shocked."What happened to Danny? He was never like this." Some of the girls said.
      "He even does not go to parties like he used to." Another girl added. Most of them asked his friends and their answer was,"he is in love with the girl of his dreams." Girls were confused and asked who the dream girl was but there were no reply of who it was. Every weekend, Maria kept teaching sports to Daniel and he loved it."No, one more time. Let us repeat that. I have not understood there."
        Everyday, the complain was the same. And Maria kept repeating before she is gone. One day, Maria was teaching Daniel after classes."You are beautiful today." He murmured."What? Did you say something?" Maria asked and Daniel shook his head."No, nothing. Let us continue the lesson." He answered looking at Maria. His mind was far away thinking about Maria.
      Every night, he could not sleep. Sometimes he will wake up at 3am and told his dad to call Maria to teach him. Daniel's father and Maria would wonder but Maria could not disobey Daniel's father. She could teach Daniel and he would fall asleep admiring her. Sometimes he will fall asleep on Maria's arm or sometimes her thighs. His father was happy that he changed but his mom warned him to be careful.
        "You should be careful and never fall in love with that woman. She is your teacher and you are the son of the most rich man in this town. Never be seen around that middle class woman." Daniel's mom kept warning him but he won't pay any heed to those words as he was in love. He just wanted Maria to love him back and he would be happy but Maria never knew about his feelings.
        On Saturday morning, Maria decided that they should jog outside for a few minute. Daniel accepted and they both went. They jog for a few minute and sat under a tree for a rest. The boys that were trying to tease Maria came and saw Daniel sitting with a girl."Hey! Isn't that the boy who has beaten us up? Look he is with a girl." They said since they could not see Maria's face. They went closer to them and said,"hey man! Remember us?"
       Maria looked at them and remembered."Aren't you guys the ones who were trying to tease me? And then a boy with a hoodie came and saved me?" They looked at Maria and said,"ohh...you are the girl!" They started laughing and said,"you don't know who saved you?" Daniel gestured to them to keep quiet but they did not listen."Look at him! He is trying to shush us." Maria looked confused.
       "Don't listen to them. Let us go. Remember we have things to do." Daniel said and dragged Maria."Yes, don't listen to us. Because we are saying the truth. He is the boy who saved you!" One of the boys shouted and Maria stopped."Please don't listen to them." Maria asked Daniel if what they were saying is true and he nodded."Listen, I did not have any choice. While I was there, I could not see you being teased by those boys."
       "While you were there? Does it mean you were there?" Daniel kept quiet and Maria left. He followed her and arrived home. He found Maria in his room waiting for answers."OK, I will explain but I have a condition." Maria asked what the condition was and Daniel said,"first accept it then I will tell you." Maria accepted and said,"now tell me what it is." Then Daniel moved closer to her and whispered,"you will have to forgive me and kiss me."
       Maria was shocked and pushed him. He almost fell to the ground and Maria said,"are you crazy? How can you say that? First tell me then I will decide." But Daniel said that she has already accepted the condition so she has to do it. Maria got angry and told him to say what he wanted or else she will go. After Maria said that, Daniel said everything. From the way he changed his number to the way he got angry seeing those boys teasing her.
      The only thing that Daniel never said was his feelings. He talked indirectly and Maria never said anything. After a long silence, Daniel decided to add something,"I had no choice and I have understood my mistake and am apologizing. You don't have to forgive me for what I have done as I know it is unforgivable." He stood up and was about to leave when Maria shouted,"wait..."
       Daniel smiled and turned back with a serious look."What?" He asked and Maria stood up from the bed and went to him. She moved closer and since she was short, she had to tiptoe on her feet and whisper in his ear."I forgive you." She whispered and kissed him on the cheek and ran away. Daniel smiled and said,"yes! This is just the beginning of our love. If she has kissed me, then it means she loves me."
      Maria went home and Rihanna stopped her."I think someone is in love." Maria told Rihanna that she was crazy and she answered,"yes am crazy and did Daniel made you crazy?" On the mention of his name, Maria blushed."I knew it! That makes us both crazies. Hurray!" Rihanna shouted and Maria tried to shut her mouth."Shhh....the neighbours might hear your shouting then come and complain."
       "Why should they complain? I will tell them am celebrating my sweet best friend's love story." Maria shook her head and ran to the room."You are indeed lucky!" Rihanna shouted after her. That night, Maria kept thinking about Daniel."He has indeed change. He became a nice boy. Dad, mom, thank you for always teaching me good things. Because of you, I have been able to change a person and keeping my promise."
       Rihanna told her boyfriend about it and he was happy."There won't be any need for me to bring them together as they are already together." Rihanna said and smiled. Daniel sat on the bed unable to sleep and so was Maria."I have changed because of her. I have changed because I was attracted to her. Am happy that she got the chance to teach in the school. I tried many times to remove her out of school but instead dad brought her close to me. Thank you dad!"
