Chapter 3 : Diana's Diary
19th September 1990
It was a rough day . Taking care of my father is never been a easy task.
There's a kid underneath him . Resembling the fact that he was a police officer it's seems more funny . However I love him very much .
After the death of my mother he was the only person who took care of me .
It's very difficult job for him because
handling a job and a little daughter at
same time it's not a easy task I guess.
Like all other day I found him stealing a sweet from our kitchen. Like really? He act like he doesn't known the fact that he has suger .
Doctor strictly told me to not feed him sweet food and to serve less amount of food that contains carbohydrate . But he always give me hard time with that. Like always when he caught he put on innocent smile and typically said "what ?" I know he scared of me and he have to be after all I'm the one in charge.
Sawing my tough face which didn't melds away by his smile , he silently put the sweet in its place and run his wheel chair to the dining room .He lost his legs in a fight during his career life .It's been 8 years back incident and now we are used to it.
"Such a unruly father you are , who gaves your daughter hard times . I told you you can have just two sweets in whole week .So why you keep stealing sweets from kitchen? " I scolded him like I always do as a bossy daughter.
"Sorry , It won't happen again " he said with dropping his face down. I secretly smiled and turned around so he can't see that.
"Ok I forgive you "
" Thanks Diana " he said in a cheerful voice .
"Ok but you still can't get that sweet " I said and leaved the room .I can imagine his face which covered with disappointment .
That's it for today . Well see you tomorrow my diary
Samantha closed the diary and looked at Diana who was still sleeping.
"So, bossy daughter you really liked to scold your father. It's kind a sweet. you took care of your dad." Samantha smiled. she for a moment lost in though insteadly she found the lack of that care from her children.
"You are great daughter ;
you know that? "
