Chapter 9
Jasmine got out of her car and saw River parking his motorcycle. She smiled at the thought of River and grabbed her bag out of her car. She closed and locked the doors to her car. She walked over to her friends and greeted them before the bell rang. Jasmine walked to her locker with Summer most of the way before Summer walked off to her locker. She got her things from her locker as she saw River at his. River grabbed his things and walked to class. She walked to the same class and sat down in the second to last row of seats. River sat behind her. Jasmine took notes of everything the Science teacher said. When the class was over she walked to her locker and put her science things away. She got out everything she needed for History and then closed her locker. Jasmine started to walk to history and bumped into River and her stuff fell on the ground. "Sorry. " She started to pick up her things and River helped her pick up her things. "It's okay." River replied. Jasmine slightly blushed embarrassed about bumping into her crush like that. River gives Jasmine her things for history. "Sorry again. I should of paid more attention to where I was going.", she said to River. He replied, "We should get to class before we're late." "Yeah probably. " She said. They walked to class together and sat near each other. Jasmine drew in her notebook a bit. "Ms. Salvatore, What year did John Smith explore the Chesapeake Bay?" She looked up from her notebook. "Um..." She thought about it but she didn't remember. "April of 1608." River said confidently. "Thank you Ms. Salvatore." The history teacher said sarcastically. "Anytime" Liam replied.
