She rushed out and got into a cab. She was very much eager to meet him. She wanted to tell him everything and maybe he would tell her a lot of things. Her mind was wandering all over the dream house she had built. But her thoughts ceased as the cab stopped outside the hospital.
Pacing her feet she reached near his ward. Her heart was beating fast just like a race horse. She opend the door and greated his family and they left the ward. She neared him and whispered calmly,
She: How are you feeling?
He: A bit better now. What about you?
She: Just fine but um loosing my breath after I got your call. What were you going to say?
He: I should have told you this a long time ago, when I really had the time.
She: What are you talking about? Is everything fine?
He: You remember the day I stopped texting you?
She: Yes, but why are you asking?
He: (Holding her hands), Some nights before that day, I wasn't feeling well so I went for a check up. I got the reports the same day when I last texted you.
She: (Her eyes wide open, heart beating ever fast) What are you talking bout? Come to the point please.
He: The reports said that I had stage 1 Lung cancer. I didn't not had the courage to tell you and I never wanted to startle you. I loved you and I was going to tell you but my condition ruined every.........
She: (Interrupting him), Just shut up. Do you think so little of me? So why are you telling me now? What if I leave you right now? Will you not stop me? Asshole I love you and I would have cared for you every moment.
He: (Gives her some medical reports), Look at this yourself. I am not perfect for you. You can have a good life without me.
She: So what now, are we going to part again? This is not happening. I love you and want to spend my life with you. Whether you are having a cancer or not, I just love you. Marry me please.............
